supermoon-01El Grande Luna

The Capricornian Super Moon has kicked in. Needless to say, you’ll be seeing plenty of pics of its swollen presence on FB, Instagram and Twitter. We live in an interesting and revolutionary time where our attention and the act of witnessing manifests in a global consciousness and awareness. The world wide web has emerged as a camera obscura for the collective soul. Every image of the Moon uploaded gives us a fractal view of our attention. Each image of Luna becomes a digital cell within the holographic projection. Events like a Super Moon or a World Cup championship match, also reveal this emerging single-eye of the human experience. BTW, tomorrow’s World Cup match between Argentina (4th Reich) vs Germany (3rd Reich) will take place under the Aquarian Moon, thus doubling the reach and scope of almost any event in modern history. On TV and the WWW, via social media channels and outlets, there will be more attention focused on this one event than more than any other in history. Without being explicit, it’s the closest we get as the world being held for a moment in time, as one.

As for this Super Moon, the first of three –in-row, it’s happening in the cardinal sign of Capricorn. Does proximity equal amplification? If the Moon is closer, do we feel it more? The general consensus is “yes.” Jim Berkland has made a career out of predicting quakes when a Super Moon occurs and it looks like Berkland’s theory about Earth movement and Super Moons is correct, since Japan just had another monster quake and Tsunami just off the shore of yes, Fukushima.

So if Super Moons can trigger quakes, then they can certainly serve as catalysts in our own lives. The Moon in Capricorn is in it’s detriment. Cool, detached and emotionally ambitious, this is a Moon that is wired for high-end survival. I just watched a video about a super-cooler called, “The Coolest” on FB. It’s got a battery, blender, light, blue-tooth speaker and smart compartments all built into it. It’s a super cooler that is still in the planning stages and the video is a fund raising tool. Coolers are Cancerian. The hold ice/water and are taken on family events (Cancer). But this cooler is the “coolest” and as it’s attached to Kickstarter, it gives it a super ambitious, Capricornian slant.

How will it affect you? Capricorn/Moon is invested in survival to some degree. It deals with emotions as transactions and achievements. It’s detached from the usual rules of engagement and as such, doesn’t conform to the Moon’s normal, sentimental standards. Under the Cap-Full-Moon, emotions are prioritized in a series of functional and hierarchical actions, because we’re dealing with Cardinal energy here.

If you want to eliminate the clingy, sentimental, emotional dross in your life, this swollen Moon will supply enough power so that you can suspend your sentimental side and detach. Anyone dealing with a partnership that isn’t working can jack into this Moon and use it to let go. Your disconnect does not make you a sociopath. Sometimes we have to do things that are not pretty or glossy to the world around us. Emotional choices are often unpopular. There is no good way to break up or say “good bye” but under this Moon, for both parties, the process is easier and in some cases inevitable.

If for some reason you or someone close to you is acting detached, you might consider it as being at the very least, a sign that things are cooling off or leading into a state of emotional, cryogenesis.

On the collective level, sometimes the Super Full Moon, can be very illuminating as it shines it’s luminescence on all things Capricornian. In the alternative press, well, underground alternative press, there’s a lot of , er juicy material around Michelle Obama being Michael Obama. It started last week when Joan Rivers blurted out that Obama is Gay and Michelle is a “Tranny.” A Super Moon ascending and trending towards her Sun at 26 Capricorn could be very, very revealing. Michelle has no birth time BTW. Very unusual for a public figure, but certainly in keeping with other birth mysteries within the White House. Here’s the Joan Rivers video, just in case you haven’t seen it yet.

Pluto’s Moon is here.

The Scorpio Full Moon rises and with it we experience our deepest desires and hidden fears. These may be momentary or strictly in passing and yet these illusive shadows demand our attention. In opposition to the body (Taurus) Scorpio sends out the more complex signals of the psyche. It is both seductive and threatening and we must engage it, for not to do so would be to give in to it’s lesser role as as psycho-emotional tyrant. Whatever your fears are and how they manifest, the Scorpio Full Moon is a conjuring dream machine. In basic astrology, it is in it’s Fall, completely opposite from the solid and celebrated Taurus Moon. With the Taurus Moon, there is a preternatural feeling of abundance and plenty for all. With the Taurus Moon, especially full, we sit down at the table of life and celebrate it’s harvest, sharing in it’s bounty. It coincides with the month of November and Scorpio, the final days of Fall’s annual reaping.

The Scorpio Full Moon is the mirror opposite. We stare down our compulsions and instead of giving praise to God for all that is holy and good, we see our cups half empty, our dreams unfulfilled, our life’s path as dusty and uncertain. Here is where our fears and shadows rise from the crypt of unknowing. During the Scorpio Full Moon, they are poised and ready to come to light. When they do, the Scorpio Full Moon will operate in a number of different ways. It can trigger intense desire in the individual, more than is probably necessary to achieve one’s goals. With the Scorpio Full Moon, an over-amplification can be set in motion and we generally deal with what we don’t get rather than what we do and as a result, we experience what the poet Wallace Stevens so articulately phrased, “The epistemology of loss.” In essence, we are enlightened through the denial of our desire.

The Tibetan Buddhists would applaud this and not only do they applaud it, they celebrate it as the culmination of Wesak, where the Buddha, dung the sign of Taurus returns to Earth and re-enters into the affairs of men. Ironically, the Buddhists see this moon as the Taurus Full Moon, since it falls under the sign of the bull, but here in the west, it manifests as the dark other. In fact, the Scorpio Full Moon has much more in common with more wrathful Tibetan deities such as Lha-mo, in some ways the Tibetan version of Kali. It’s a beautiful set-up; trigger desire through fear or want or void, channel intensity and sit back and watch what happens. If it all falls to shit, then you get to learn about non-attachment and the timeless humility that attends it. However, even if the Scorpio Full Moon triggers ego death/desire, one shouldn’t shirk from engaging with it.

Sometimes it’s better to push and and even over push than to spend another day in Samsara, dog-paddling with the forces of entropy and slow decay. I remember reading an album liner note from a Todd Rundgren record once; “Anything worth doing, is worth over doing” and in some ways, that exemplifies the power and intensity of the Scorpio Full Moon.

Now let’s get down to the nitty gritty, what most people want to get into when we are talking about the Scorpio Full Moon and that is sex. It’s like cigarettes; If you’ve got’em smoke’em. This is a hot Full Moon and some of the psychic overdrive, coupled with intense desire can be worked with through the power of this Full Moon. The gateway is wide open and for two people, consciously attuned, well, we are not quite in Jack Parsons territory, but let’s just say that you can bring power to your creative lives by working with the bodily energy of Taurus via the psychosexual circuitry of Scorpio. The Buddha would be well pleased.

On the collective front, we’re still dealing with Michael Sam and the cake face kiss. It’s culture splitting like an atom. You know, there’s this theory that when they split the atom and exploded the first bomb in White Sands, that it split the nuclear family as well. Coincidentally, we had the first outward manifestations of youth rebellion following it in the 50′s and then the war between the generations in the 60′s. The Scorpio Moon is of course ruled by Pluto and Pluto is synonymous with Plutonium, a ket ingredient in atom and family splitting.

My most recent show on GaiamTv deals with the astrology of that first atomic blast. You can sign up and watch all twenty-two of my shows over at Gaiam by clicking HERE. But getting back to Sam, the Scorpio Full Moon, which is in his First House will bring attitudes, beliefs and deep seated thoughts around sexuality to the surface and of course Sam will be the conduit for it all. Watch the Scorpio Full Moon polarize.

Here’s a quick guide for all signs during this Full Moon.

Life in the Faust lane.

Not many people know the true meaning of the word, “actor.” It’s actually derived from the Greek word, “hypokrites” which essentially means “one who interprets.” It’s generally known that the first actor in the west was “Thespis” who spoke in the voice of another person at the temple of Dionysus. Thus we get the word “thespian.” In the early middle ages, actors were not highly regarded. The traveling troupes were often looked upon with distrust. It wasn’t until the 19th and 20th Century that the social stigma of actors was largely reversed. You see, acting is, essentially lying.

In the 1981 film, “Mephisto” starring the great Klaus Maria Brandauer who plays Hendrik Hoefgen, an actor who does a deal with the devil and the devil is the Nazis as they assert their will in the rise to power. Hoefgen is alternately disgusted and seduced by the power and the privilege of being drawn closer and closer into it’s inner workings as a theater director creating propagandistic theater for his Nazi handlers. He plays “Mephisto” and he does a Faustian deal with not only the devil in a supernatural sense, but also the devil incarnate in the system. It exists on a number of levels, however, unlike some actors who display almost no conscience, Brandauer/Hoefgen wrestles with his, but to little avail. Brandauer was born on 6/22/43.

That’s Gemini, 29 degrees, the anorettic degree.

One can almost sense the actual tension and stress of the anoretic degree in Brandauer’s performance. He wants to help his black lover, but can’t. He wants to nurture his culture which is rapidly succumbing to the iron grip of the Third Reich. Cancer is both persevering and preserving, especially the 0 degree which fosters the most cardinality of the sign, but his character lapses back into the dualistic role of actor/propagandist and Hoefgen/Faust. It’s also interesting to note that Brandauer has Mercury and Uranus conjunct in Gemini.

At the anoretic degree, he’s incapable of sustaining any kind of true emotion or emotional commitment, which would be indicative of Cancer. Instead, he’s sucked back down into the whirlpool of the split persona and divided loyalties.
Life imitating art imitating cinema imitating astrology imitating life.

Actors often have names that are different than the ones we’re given as their stage name.

Having or possessing dual identities is the key to acting. It’s endemic to the craft of being another person and doing so with such conviction that we are convinced that they are actually that person. When you watch Tom Mapother play different characters in films without make-up, you suspend your disbelief that he is actually Tom Mapother playing the role of a vigilante, or the head of secret intelligence team. You are taken away by the plot and the narrative that he is who he says he is for ninety minutes. There is a covert agreement that’s made between you and the experience itself. At that point the movie and the acting becomes as real as so called reality itself. The brain makes no distinction between the two. But it’s not just actors who have alter-egos and even separate surnames.

Recently, in Boston, we saw something massive and extremely important take place. On the 15th of April, as series of explosions went off near the finish line and as a result numerous people were injured and at least two dead.

But what really happened?

Astrologically, the Moon was in Gemini as well as Jupiter. What does Gemini represent? Duality. Having two faces. Wearing masks. One of the other symbols for Gemini is the face of Janus which is literally “two faced.”

Janus is the god of endings and beginnings, passages and get this; change and time. Here’s what Wikipedia says about Janus;

“Janus frequently symbolized change and transitions such as the progress of future to past, from one condition to another, from one vision to another, and young people’s growth to adulthood. He represented time, because he could see into the past with one face and into the future with the other. Hence, Janus was worshipped at the beginnings of the harvest and planting times, as well as at marriages, deaths and other beginnings. He represented the middle ground between barbarism and civilization, rural and urban space, youth and adulthood. Having jurisdiction over beginnings Janus had an intrinsic association with omens and auspices.”

And there’s more;

“The function of ‘god of beginnings’ has been clearly expressed in numerous ancient sources, among them most notably Cicero, Ovid and Varro. As a god of motion Janus looks after passages, causes actions to start and presides over all beginnings, and since movement and change are bivalent, he has a double nature, symbolised in his two headed image. He has under his tutelage the stepping in and out of the door of homes, the ianua, which took its name from him, and not viceversa. Similarly his tutelage extends to the covered passages named iani and foremost to the gates of the city, including the cultic gate of the Argiletum, named Ianus Geminus or Porta Ianualis from which he protects Rome against the Sabines. He is also present at the Sororium Tigillum, where he guards the terminus of the ways into Rome from Latium. He has an altar, later a temple near the Porta Carmentalis, where the road leading to Veii ended, as well as being present on the Janiculum, a gateway from Rome out to Etruria.

The connection of the notions of beginning (principium), movement, transition (eundo), and thence time has been clearly expressed by Cicero. In general, Janus is at the origin of time as the guardian of the gates of Heaven: Jupiter himself can move forth and back because of Janus’s working. In one of his temples, probably that of Forum Holitorium, the hands of his statue were positioned to signify the number 355 (the number of days in a year), later 365, symbolically expressing his mastership over time. He presides over the concrete and abstract beginnings of the world, such as religion and the gods themselves, he too holds the access to Heaven and to other gods: this is the reason why men must invoke him first, regardless of the god they want to pray or placate. He is the initiator of human life, of new historical ages, and financial enterprises: according to myth he was the first to mint coins and the as, first coin of the libral series, bears his effigy on one face.

The number 355 is actually 13, which of course is present in our current, Roman calendrical year (2013). What’s interesting about Janus is that he has no equivalent in the Greek pantheon of Gods. He is unique. January is named after him and represents the beginning of the dawn of the new year, when light incrementally returns after the winter solstice. January is ruled by Capricorn and we are in the throes of Pluto in Capricorn, with Pluto retrograde. The Pluto retrograde motion is destructive. It breaks down existing social orders in Capricorn, which rules society, banking, big business, government, etc. But more importantly, Janus who rules the temple of Gemini, is the god of time and not just any time, but splitting time, dual realities, competing timelines. In order to create a virtual reality or a simulacra of time itself, impostors are needed to play the roles of supposedly real people.

When we fire up the chart for the Boston Marathon, we can see the role that Gemini is clearly playing. This is the chart for 3PM, just moments after the bombs went off. Look at the MC. It’s at 0 degrees Gemini. Zero is a portal. An opening. A gateway. What we see here is the insertion of alternate realities, multiple plots, various outcomes and of course, yet more duality. But what really comes through is an invocation of madness at a mass level, a collective social schizophrenia in action. There’s no clear path to the truth. Emergency doctors look like Stephen Spielberg. Guys in military khakis with bulging back-packs cruise the pre-crime scene practicing their dark craft.

Pictures emerge of two suspects, one wearing a white cap, the other wearing a black cap. Don’t look now but it’s Remus and Romulus, two lone humans, abandoned and raised by wolves, now lone wolf incarnates.

But just as their names are released to the press two other names appear as the suspects; Sunil Tripathia and Mike Mulugeta. This is on the public record. Tripathia’s body was just found today. A student, he had been reported missing. No word on how Mulugeta’s name was surfaced or where he is.

Then there’s the Saudi national, who just might be Osama Bin Laden’s son. Now there’s pics surfacing of Michelle Obama visiting him in the hospital surfacing. Naked suspects, stripped and detained then released. CIA uncles. A larynx removed by Israeli trauma doctors. Layers upon layers. Now a dictator mayor who might be really running the country from Gotham City suggests that it’s time to do away with key aspects of the constitutions. Masses whipped–beaten down–mascerated psyches–Merck, Lilly and Bayer salivate over the hand shake deals to provide new and more powerful psychotropic communion for a society that is on the verge of the breaking point. This is also a key element behind Janus–the mind split in two. Look for new laws, rules, and regulations to be fast tracked during this Taurus cycle, since Taurus is a fixed sign.

Today, we have an eclipse at 5 degrees Scorpio. It’s partial and skimming the surface of Agartha in the southern most part of the planet where descendants of the Vril gear up for their next conquest of reality and time.

Five is the number of man and in the tarot represents four of the most dismal states; strife, worry, disappointment, and defeat. In Scorpio, these states become accentuated and more prominent. But the key to the five sequence is that they become self-fulfilling prophecy with the more attention we give them. In understanding this powerful Scorpio Moon, we must invoke resolve and clarity. We can change our psych-emotional states and even programming by staring them down without trivializing or exalting them. We can move through them towards the six sequence which is hallmarked by deliverance, community, success and victory. This eclipse offers us the opportunity to plant our flag deeply into the earth (Taurus). That’s your mission for now. Build some resolve. Grow your will. More Gemini madness later.

Projections and reflections of The Libra Full Moon.

Stepping outside the realm of the hyperreal, astro-matrix for just a post or two, we get back down to basics with the Libra Full Moon. It’s a time to show others how we want to be treated by treating them accordingly. This by the way is something that anyone involved with a Libra, Libra rising, or personal planets in Libra needs to file away, because Libra will almost always show, rather than tell how they want to be treated and related to. So pay close attention. If your Libra partner wants to give you lots of back and foot rubs, it’s a pretty clear indicator that they want the same in return. If they take you to a special restaurant or play a meaningful song, they are giving you insights into their esthetics. If they treat you with a certain aloofness (which Libra can do) they are essentially sending you signals that they want/need space. This is where Libra gets the rep of being passive/aggressive. They can be, for other reasons, but not for the ones just listed. They are simply holding up the mirror of relating, to balance the scales of their inner and outer states.

It’s fascinating to note that the Supreme Court is in deep discussion surrounding the rulings of Prop 8 in California as we are in the Libra Moon and the scales of justice weigh accordingly. No matter where you chime in on the debate, it cannot be denied that astrology is playing a major role in decision making process of a controversial and combustible position that the highest court in the land is weighing out and debating.

Look for Roberts again to be the deciding vote, if indeed it comes down to a vote. Roberts is a first deacan Aquarius, which means he is ruled by Uranus and is unpredictable. His double Uranus whammy was on hand for all the world to see as he awkwardly flubbed the first swearing in of Barack Obama, thus nullifying the oath, which later took place beneath the White House, supposedly with a Masonic and not a traditional bible beneath Obama’s right hand. Even though Roberts is married and is a Catholic, rumors have swirled around him for years as being gay. Ironically, in a strange twist of astro-sync, it was announced today, that the director of the Kennedy Center, Michael Kaiser is going to marry John Roberts, a commodities trader.

The Libra Moon, especially in it’s fullness allows to more fully understand how to do unto others as a way of setting a conscious standard for relating, not just for today but for the rest of the astrological year. Put into place now how you wish to be treated as a seal and you will then have the opportunity to practice this throughout the coming year.

One of the main challenges that pops up in the Libra Moon/Aries Sun opposition is where one self begins and the other ends. Libra can be overly accommodating at times and will often choose to not upturn the apple cart in order to maintain peace and stability; Go along to get along can be it’s mantra. Meanwhile, Aries is anything but accommodating and pliant. Aries knows what it wants and goes after it, regardless of the slings and arrows it might suffer from others that don’t think they’re playing nice. This is one of the key and fundamental dynamics that gets played out in relationships; The dominant versus the passive. The Libra Full Moon can remind us that both people inside a relationship will assume both roles over the course of the relationship, over time. So remember, if you’re on top, it’s always a good thing to treat your position with respect and conscious appreciation, because the great wheel is always turning.

On today’s show, I’ll be doing live, mini-readings and we’ll get into the spirit of the Libra Moon by exploring synastry and composite charts.

Also, I am offering seasonal specials on all readings. If you are interested, please contact me at robertphoenix@robertphoenix.com.

Eclipsing reality

The smallest Full Moon in recent memory and for years to come made it’s appearance on the penumbral eclipse. In the Texas sky I could recognize Jupiter as a tiny twin just at 11 o’clock. Did you know that 11/11 was the day that Yassir Arafat died? Yes, that Yassir Arafat who was just exhumed in Ramallah on the eve of the eclipse. Did you know that Arafat was related to the prophet Mohammed? In essence, just before the eclipse, Arafat and the specter of Mohammed himself were resurrected. This utterly symbolic event was taking place on the same day that had two other resonant, and synchronistic events in history related to 11/27.

On 11/27/511, King Clovis, the man whose seed would fuel one of Europe’s most famous bloodlines, the Merovingians, through his grandson, Merovech, died. Keep this in mind, because it is through Clovis that in many ways, religion and culture would take root in Europe, but not for the beatific inspiration that Clovis claimed. Clovis was a pagan, and a sharp one. He had conquered nearly all of what we call France and he knew that if he wanted even greater property, influence and wealth, he would have to convert to Christianity, especially if he wanted to marry Clotilde, the Burgundian princess. So he did and in so doing he changed the course of history and destiny of Europe.

Clovis became a Roman-Catholic, which recognized the Father/Son/Holy Ghost as part of one, unified expression of God.

In contrast to the Roman-Catholics, The Goths and Visigoths practiced a different form of Christianity altogether; “Arian Christianity,” Arian Christianity separated Christ out of the trinity as a distinct being and sub-ordinate to the father, There was no Holy Ghost. This was a threat to the religious concordance e and hierarchy of the pope’s rising influence and power. While not quite in the same heretical ballpark of Manichaeism, the church did not think highly of the alternate cosmology, which could displace not only it’s military and economic power, but threaten the ecclesiastical structure of the church itself, removing the pope from the throne of spiritual king and representative of God on Earth. The Goths and Visigoths were also threats to Clovis himself, and he knew that if he had to gigot them (which he did) that he would need Rome’s blessing and gold.

Obviously, Rome would not recognize the Germanic version of faith. So they were more than ready to support Clovis with his conquests to conquer the tribal heretics. This again, would be prove to be a major tipping point in the religious formation of Western Europe.

On the very same day, in the year of 1095, Pope Urban II declared the first crusade at the Council of Clermont. Think there might have been some underlying meaning as to the specific day of Arafat’s exhumation as the Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Gemini was rising?

Gemini is one of my favorite signs, because it resonates on so many different levels. it’s a key symbol in hermetic alchemy and as such is favored by the magicians of Enochian magic, creators and sustainers of the demi-urges of this world and most of their mega-ritual spell binding. I’ve referenced this before. From JFK, to the Two Pauls, to GHW Bush, we see the thread of Gemini running through the tapestry of illusion and the constant trick of the mind, where reality becomes a sleight-of-hand experience. Massive events like the fall of “The Twin Towers” reinforce the illusion of separateness from the divine creator, while binding us to the god of this world.

When you observe the symbol of Gemini, it’s perfect for this task. It’s two as one, but not really one. The two are capped by Earth and Heaven. They are contained in a simulacra of the universe, a matrix if you will. Adam and Eve were symbolic of Gemini and every twin of every creation myth are as well. Abel and Cain, the progeny of Adam and Eve are the incarnations of light and dark and so the split of the world begins, and we become bound by the rules of a world that self-perpetuates them either by will or by proxy. We have become locked into the dualistic dream, which threatens to become a nightmare.

DISCERNMENT

While we are spellbound by the symbolic illusions of this false-dualism and bound in some ways by it’s rules, a group of scientists in Switzerland are definitely playing by a different set of rules. if we can believe the press that comes out of CERN, again, on the heels of the eclipse, they discovered some novel particles that they hadn’t yet discover, something they named, “Gluon.” The name itself is kind of hilarious. It reminds me of a late night commercial for a product to mend broken fingernails. I guess that’s why they’re scientists and not poets. Anyway, slamming particles together at different angles produced a new substance, never before seen. The underlying message of course is that they have found the “glue” of creation, hence, “Gluon.”

Science is ruled by the air signs, especially Gemini and Aquarius. Madame Curie had Jupiter in Aquarius in her first house and it squared just about every planet in her chart. Think she was on a mission?

Gemini wouldn’t mind witnessing the destruction of the world, as long as it could take notes. When i think of this, I flash on Tyler Durden and Norton/Pitt in “Fight Club” in true Gemini fashion, planning for and witnessing the destruction of civilization through the obliteration of it’s financial records, through the collapse of a building storing them all. Hmmmmmm? Okay, back to CERN.

Have you ever looked at the symbols surrounding CERN? Most people know of this one. Yes, it’s the classic 666 symbol, with the Pisces Vesica. But how about this one? What do you notice about this symbol? it’s the actual layout of CERN. What do you see? It’s a “wheel within a wheel.” Now I have heard that this particular piece from Ezekiel refers to everything from a UFO (Van Dahniken) to the zodiacal wheel. Perhaps, like “Cloud-Atlas” we are operating in multiple levels of time and reality, each one influencing the other, or being influenced again and again to maintain the protocols of control in this domain.

So the question, is do they really know what the hell they are doing over at CERN? Doesn’t sound like they expected these “Gluons” to show up in the way that they did. Now if you’re an eternal optimist and invest your full faith and credit in the gods of science, you’ll believe that something good, perhaps even great can come out of all of this. But there’s that other mind-set that wonders if the next ritualized slamming of particles might not yield a different result and punch a black hole through this world and the wheel within a wheel shifts from Ezekiel to Isaiah, which is almost like Bible within the Bible and provides it’s own version of revelations, replete with 66 chapters. Thus, The Book Of Isaiah is noted as the canonical, wheel within a wheel. But I digress just a bit.

While we continued to feast upon the last fibers of roasted tryptophan, the high priests of science were busy messing around with time and space. However, what’s interesting, is that if the notion of God as omnipresent and omniscient deity is true, and that everything is an unfoldment of the divine plan and will, that even the pocket-protectors of CERN, cannot escape their destiny, even if they try to rustle the God particle and control the flow of events, history and the third dimension. That must piss them off just a bit, even if they have murdered God in some obscure and drunken ritual back in their college days.

Gemini, would find all of this highly amusing. Libra would try to understand why. Aquarius would turn it into a Google app and try to control humanity through a 5G network. Speaking of which . . . .

ISIS RISES

As many of you know, I have left the intersection of Atlantis and Mu for a plains existence. Here in Austin, they are touting a new app for your phone and it’s called, “Isis.” Gotta like that name. She’s been everywhere lately, from Madonna, to breast bearing Army mamas. Isis is fertility and abundance and now you can have her right in your phone and she can pay for everything. Everything! Isis is a digital wallet and it’s a joint venture created and promoted by Verizon, ATT&T and T-Mobile. Yep. Think that’s gonna fail? When do competitors pool effort and resources? When they have to. But Isis is more than a digital wallet, it will allow you to order your drinks at Starbucks ahead of time and breeze past the line, pick up your steaming hot goodness, magically swipe your phone, pay and float past the cash fumbling masses.

You’ll be able to shop and walk right out of the store without having to deal with those slow and nasty checkers. Just breeze in and out like you own the place.

Get the picture?

As we stare down at the fiscal cliff, there’s Isis down there at the bottom, smiling warmly, sending out the telepathic message; go ahead baby, jump, come to mama, mama will catch you, take you home and make things right. Come to mama. Come.

Speaking of mamas. . .

ANN RANDY

Most dirt-digging, alternative-researchers have come across the naughty photos on the net that have been attributed to Stanley Ann Dunham and her romps with noted sex freak, Frank Marshall Davis, aka “Uncle Frank” the man who some people insist is Obama’s true father. Well they are interesting, but I will let the reader decide for themselves as I will not render judgement unto the president’s mother. You can find them on the internets. However, I will look at her birth chart as today, the 333rd day of the year is her birthday. So what can we infer from her chart?

Well, based on her chart, the true identity and life force of Dunham are not the ones revealed as her official life story and narrative. We can see this clearly in the 12th HOUSE. Her Sun, Merc and Mars are all hidden just slightly behind he veil of the ascendant, though they are quite close, especially the Sun and Mercury. In traditional astrology, we would read them as being part of the first house, since they are within five degrees of the cusp and with almost any other house, I would be in agreement with this. However the 12th HOUSE is a different beast altogether. It’s oceanic and deep, it’s more than just the collective unconscious, it’s cosmic soup, the undifferentiated source of creation. Hell, it might even be the Gluon factory. So even though her Sun is near the ASC. the image reminds me of the Sun rising out of the ocean on the eastern horizon, partially submerged in it’s alchemical birth into day. It’s an illusion of course, but as symbol, we cannot see the Sun in it’s entirety and this would include Dunham herself. She is partially hidden by the curtain of the 12th. Mercury is there as well, even further back, obscured slightly by the Sun. So her voice and her ability to communicate is hidden. This actually fits with some descriptions of her and her connection with people like Tim Geithner’s dad, the World Bank, Indonesia, Lolo Soetero and the coup in Indonesia, which takes us to her 1st HOUSE, where we can see her Venus, plain as day in Sag. This is a total fit with her dalliances with men from other countries, cultures and even political stripes. With Venus there, she would come to identity herself through her relationship with them. That is where she would seek out her identity,

I’m fascinated by her Mars in Scorpio, hence the name, Ann Randy. Mars in Scorpio is perhaps the most sexual sign/aspect in the Zodiac. I have been around people that have Mars in Scorpio and they exude sex at a primal level that results in my estimation as a hyperactive pheromonal broadcast. People can sniff Mars in Scorpio at a distance. I was hanging with a friend of mine one night. He has Mars in Scorpio. We were bar-hopping in North North beach and right out of the blue, a random woman walked up to him and planted a kiss right on his lips. That my friend’s is Mars in Scorpio.

So there it is, hidden, hanging out in her 12th House, secretly horny, getting down behind the scenes. But it also has to do with power, power behead the veil. Squaring the Leo Moon in the 9th House. Leo. Hmmmm.

Now I am not a birthed, because there have been presidents born in this country who have been as traitorous as any foreign born president could be, so I think it would be irrelevant where Obama was born, unless you wanted to use it as a means to remove him form office, not just for violating the Articles Of The Constitution, but perjury. Now that said, if I wanted to make an astrological case that Obama was born elsewhere, it would be his mother’s chart, where the Leo Moon (child, in this case, her Leo, Sun) representing birth and children, is in the house of foreign lands and distant cultures, where by the way her TN is as well. It’s good to know that Stanley Ann Dunham worked that node.

Another fascinating aspect of her chart is that old friend, Gemini.

In her 6th/7th houses, She has Uranus and Saturn conjunct. So here we go again, the forces of duality churning and burning. Saturn in the 7th in Gemini is a consecration of sorts, since it is accidentally exalted in there. It generally means long-standing relationships, but is Gemini it struggles with commitment, especially yoked to uber-kinky Uranus in Gemini. Uranus and Saturn are strange bedfellows. One wants to explode in an election storm, the other wants to compress the atmosphere and condense the gravity of self. Making this even more difficult to manage is the opposition of these two planets, with the Sun/Merc/Venus on the ASC. It’s such a drastic opposition, that it could suggest a type of schizophrenia, resulting in a dual personality or even multiple selves. It will be interesting to see what comes up around Ann Dunham when Jupiter retro hits the mid-point between Saturn and Uranus at 6 degrees in January.

Jumping up to her 8th HOUSE, there’s Pluto and Jupiter, two giants, representing power, and expansion, again, hidden, behind the scenes are hanging out. Trining her stellium on the ASC, these are he real generators of her chart, driving her purpose from deep within the waters of the 8th HOUSE.

Lastly, we have Neptune in her 10th and while motivations can be inspired, like wanting to help the world and serve and be an agent of compassion, things can get a little wonky and the motivations can get diluted and deluded, thus subverting the original intent and getting trapped at times in a hall of mirrors.

So what have we concluded? Can we determine that Ann Dunham isn’t who she appeared to be? Does Mars in Scorpio in the 12th denote hanky panicky with communist sex poets? And if it all does, what does matter and mean?

THE FRACTAL DREAM OF DON MIGUEL RUIZ

Yesterday, on Navigating The Astrological Matrix, I had the great pleasure of interviewing don Miguel Ruiz, author of “The Four Agreements” which I consider one of the best spiritual works of our time. The interview happened quite suddenly. We cleared it on Tuesday night and it went live on Wednesday, just as Mercury was going direct. For me, personally the interview was astonishing on a number of levels. First off, he shared with us, first hand, details of his heart failure, his coma and his subsequent heart transplant. A true shamanic journey of life, death, re-birth and the resurrection with a new heart. He spoke of his experience in the void and the beauty of all creation from a multi-dimensional perspective and how life and truth are mutually exclusive entities, which reinforced his perspective that we are not our stories and that none of this exists. We explored the paradox of being an the nihilistic conclusion that one can arrive at and what to do. if you are not your story and life has no real meaning, then what? In true Gemini fashion, you’ll have to listen to the interview to find out and you can do that below. You can also find out more about don Miguel Ruiz’s upcoming event, “Awakening The Giant” at Teothiuacan from the 17th to the 21st of December, 12/21/12 at the Temple of The Sun and Moon with don Miguel, HERE. Now how cool would that be?

Hook’em horns!

We’re well into Virgo now and I’m a few days late. Mars has crossed into Scorpio and the second full Moon of august is upon us, A blue Moon, casting its pale indigo radiance upon us. Its easy to see why Cancer aka the Moon is such a nostalgic sign. The golden face of the moon usually evokes fondness and a sense of harmony, when the night sky is luminescent and darkness held at bay for a few days. In the depth of Summer when Cancer reigns supreme, that Moon appears at the end of long, warm days and is a beacon for lovers to meet beneath its flattering glow, evoking a special array of pheromones, neurotransmitters, poly-peptides and hormones in a fusion of passion and flush. The full Moon rises eternally in the space of our DNA, alighting the promise of night. I don’t give a good goddam if its a spaceship, hollow or was parked there by Orions to entrain us with a broad spectrum of strange behaviors and polarity (see the Moon’s Nodes). When the Blue Moon rises, it evokes laying in the long grass, dandelion wine and sprites humming about in the sweet essence of creation, rising in the glow of the midsummers night.

And then there’s Virgo.

It didn’t take long, but we saw the first meta-imprint of Virgo hit the collective screen of our minds. I am referring to the fall of Lance Armstrong, America’s last hero of sorts.

Armstrong (9/18/71) birth time unknown is a triple Virgo (Sun/Moon/Mercury). He also has Pluto in Virgo at 29 degrees, conjunct his Sun at 25 degrees. That Pluto/Sun conjunction is tenacious, the sign of a true survivor and since it is in Virgo (health) and Pluto (death) Armstrong rose to prominence in the public’s eye by beating cancer of the lungs, brain and testicle, using aggressive allopathic medicine aka radiation and chemo. its the stuff of legend. He goes onto win 7 Tour-de-France medals, has his sperm frozen just in case the plumbing won’t work, impregnates his wife with it, then goes onto conquer the cycling world. Along the way, he buddies up with fellow Texan, G.H.W. Bush, then leaves his wife for Sheryl Crow, the former school teacher from Missouri who moved to LA and got the majority of her early hits from a musical salon called “The Supper Club” where she met Kevin Gilbert who became her boyfriend and was generally acknowledged as the creative force behind Crow. After releasing a brilliant, 80s styled pop record, drenched in cynicism and unabashed romantic yearning, Gilbert pulled the plug on his own life in the shadow of Crow’s spreading wings on the winds of her success, soaring up the charts. But I am getting way ahead or behind or tangential.

Lance Armstrong, with all that purity (Virgo) represented the untainted winner that America had been craving for decades. Not only was he a true American from Plano, Texas, he was also white. Unlike Tiger and his miscegenated cablination, Lance was white. And while “Figer” created a sense of corporate worship and awe through his Baphometric Capricornius, it wasn’t the same. Lance was the common man with uncommon ability, who overcame adversity. His team was repaid by the postal service, a mercurial/virgoan brand as there ever could be. This is why his fall is strange and as tainted as his urine samples likely were.

Lance was being harassed by the USADA (The US Anti-Doping Agency). While almost all of Hollywood is getting pumped with botulism viruses, HGH and just about any other thing that will sustain the illusion of youth, while men over 40 are being pitched testosterone pre-cursors every 15 minutes on sports talk radio, while deep in the heart of DARPA labs, serums for super soldiers are cooked up for the Captain Americas of tomorrow, Lance gets tarred and feathered by the most absurd watchdog agency. EVER. If the SEC had as much zealous intention and oversight, most of Wall St and nearly all of congress and the senate would be doing time.

Its pretty clear (no, not that clear) that Armstrong is a superior athlete from his chart. he has Jupiter in Sag, which is Jupiter at it’s most potent expression. Sag and Aries rules athletics and in its own sign, Jupiter is amplified times two. At 0 degrees, its a portal. In the Sabian Symbols, 0 degrees Sag, as it relates to Armstrong isn quite interesting. Even though we would read one degree for this symbol, we cannot overlook the all important 30th or 0 degree (at least according to my friend, Lynda Hill). Here is the 30th or 0 degree;

PHASE 270 (SAGITTARIUS 30°): THE POPE, BLESSING THE FAITHFUL

KEYNOTE: The need to pay homage to traditional values upon which the Invisible Community of the spirit is built. The concrete integration of myriads of human individuals within a great religious institution with a long tradition reflects, as well as having produced century after century, an invisible spiritual Community. The “flag bearer” has now become the “Pope,” who assumes the role of God’s representative on earth. It is a role, but culture is based on embodying great Images and deeply moving symbols in physical reality. The symbol asks of the individual: “Are you willing to live a transpersonal life as a symbol?” This is the final and supreme statement of that section of the cycle of the year represented by Sagittarius.

This concludes Scene Eighteen. A collectivity of human beings is seen having “transferred” their sense of spiritual value to a man who has become an incarnation of their common ideal. Keywords: PERSONALIZED WORSHIP. It can be a blessing or in some cases, a curse.

Clearly, we are in the curse phase of this symbol for Armstrong. Also note the transition from flag bearer, Sabian symbol 26, to the Pope, which Rudhyar sees as the transformation of the revelation into spiritual orthodoxy. Where have we seen the image of the flag bearer before?

Neptune also plays a HUGE role as it too is at 0 degrees and conjunct Sag. We can infer all kinds of Neptunian hijinx around this, like using drugs (Neptune) to expand (Jupiter) athletic enhancement (Sag). There’s also the projection of the very type of hero worship in symbol 30/0. All this went down by the way when the Sun was square Armstrong’s Jupiter and Neptune. Lance also has a very prominent conjunction between Mars at 12 degrees Aquarius conjunction his Mean Node in Aquarius at 12 degrees, Can you say science? Using any technological means at his disposal. His chart is marked by exactitude and direct/close degrees. There’s the Neptune/Jupiter exact conjunction, Mars/MN, exact and also Lilith and Uranus also exact in Libra, 12 degrees. Chiron in Aries is also at 12 degrees and is exactly opposite Uranus and BML. Restless, application of will at all costs, especially in relationships and love are a hot spot here for Armstrong. His chart is also marked by a lack of water. None. Zero. Dry as West Texas. Compassion and emotion come from the outside–not in. Replacing emotion with adulation. Love as a remote signal from the masses. Let’s face it, The man is human in extremes. He’s overcome adversity and based on the scientific and darwinian model, should be rewarded, not punished for his achievements in athletics and science, ahem. But we live in a bullshit world where Lance gets strung up on the cross of hypocrisy just days before the GOP convention, getting swept up in the undercurrent of racial baiting that both sides shamelessly promote. Lance is the dirty, white, cheating republican, branded just prior to their biggest stage. But he’s not the only Armstrong. Oh no!. There’s Neil Armstrong, arguably America’s “other” last hero, the man that “walked” on the Moon. if you haven;t listened to my interview with Jay Weidner on Kubrick and the Moon, I headily recommend that you do. You can hear it here.

In the midst of the Vietnam war, riots in Watts, Detroit and shootings at Kent State, America needed a moment where it could be proud and once again regain some its luminescence. That was Armstrong’s “One small step for man.” I’m not going to go into the elaborate minutiae about the NASA and Freemasonry, Clockwork Orangeing, and all the other strangeness around the Apollo missions, but let’s for a moment seal Neil Armstrong in the amber of our memory as America’s last hero, he’s gone now. Passed into the great beyond where the soul catcher on the Moon’s dark side hurtles his essence back into the center of the Sun, joining the dearly departed Kubrick for a cosmic belly laugh of epic proportion and some suitable incarnation on an alternate Earth. He’s gone. Dead. And Lance Armstrong is metaphorically dead (even though Livestrong donations have hit an all-time high) Neil Armstrong died after complications of heart surgery. This would not be uncommon for a Leo, but the timing is quite strange, in the overall arc of the Armstrong/Armstrong vector.

One of the most important symbols for America during the early 20th Century, was Jack Armstrong, the All American Boy, which ran on radio, from 1933 to 1951. It was a classic cereal thriller as it was sponsored by the all american, Wheaties. It debuted on 7/31/33 which would make Jack a Leo! The show was a series of adventures with the young Armstrong (high school) and his two friends, the Billy and Betty Fairfield (fair playing field) globetrotting from adventure-to-adventure, thanks mainly to the Fairfield’s industrialist uncle Jim. The show was a staple of the American diet inasmuch as Wheaties was the breakfast table. He is the third of the Armstrong trinity, representing a heroic ideal and ideation of being an American. Jack Armstrong was eventually morphed into the TV show, Johnny Quest, where Johnny and his buddy Hadji get into all kinds of adventures with his dad and his dad’s pal (ahem) Race Bannon, both of whom look like poster dudes from Tom of Finland.

It is interesting that the Fairfield sibs were altered in this iteration to reflect an emerging globalism and become Johnny’s turban wearing, snake-charming chum.

In two, short days, the Armstrong brand was terminated. This could be inferred as the death of the USA on a metaphoric and perhaps even a prophetic level. In the ashes of Lance Armstong’s legacy, the global icon of Ussain Bolt rises. Running beastly times in the 100, 200, and 100 meter relay, Bolt (Leo) is the man of the moment, bolting and signifying with the all the rest of the stars that illuminate our media’s skies. Bolt is global. He’s Jamaican, British, a planetary citizen, a DJ, spinning tracks with power rings and ancient seals, from bikes to spikes, from wheels to heels. Ussain has become a lightning bolt for alternative research. See for yourself, here.

With the descent and passing of the Armstrongs, we are seeing a ritual passing of the torch. Keep your eyes affixed on the flame of liberty, Pallas Athena’s torch of illumination.

I’ll be back with scopes this week–its been too long. Until then, let’s get into a little Mars in Scorpio. Mars and Scorpio are yoked. Mars is exalted in Scorpio. Its depth. Its power. Its endurance. Its tenacity. Its sex. This is truly an aspect where everyone gets a little needed boost. While Mars was only in Libra from July 4th to till August 23rd, but it felt like a lot longer, especially in relationships, where, let’s face it, Mars in Libra was a real grind, sorting out mine and thine. Mars in Libra is great for make-up sex, but it spends a lot of time negotiating at high volume. Its no coincidence that with Mars in Libra and Jupiter in Gemini, both signs that represent an expression of duality, one inner, the other outer, that we’d be stuck in the middle of a political psyop between two supposed candidates that has done everything is the book to divide and conquer. Watching the fallout from the bizarre re-definition of rape by one Senator Akin, to the vitriolic response from women, to the cynical manipulation of that rage coming from the other side.

With Mars out of Libra, the heat, the rancor and the outrage all get dialed back. There’s something else in the ethers now. Its a feeling that is intense, canny, wise and deep. Recently, in the final degrees of Mars in Libra, Pussy Riot, desecrated an Orthodox church and were thrown in the pokey, amidst much furor and outrage from the likes of Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Trudy Styler. Pussy Riot has all the earmarks of a false front. More atsro-turfed phony agit-prop. While the three courageous avengers of global justice who screw in museums and swear at God in orthodox churches were jailed, in the US, one Brandon Raub gets detained for posting “patriotic lyrics” on Facebook and the truthers come out in support of Raub, full guns blazing. Well, after a brief stint in a psych ward, there seems to be some unraveling of his story and people are looking at him and this event quite differently as well. Here is where the strum and drang of Mars in Libra gives way to the sagacious undertone of Mars in Scorpio. People have the ability to get beneath the surface of things in their lives with Mars in Scorpio and it has the power to transform all aspects in all lives, from malkuth to kether. Life, birth, death, in an affirmation of active participation, that is Mars in Scorpio. Its actually a very positive energy to have in the wake of Issac, people persevering through the force of violence and nature via water.

Scopes on Friday. See you then.

Ussain Bolt says ok!.

Its the cool Cap moon

The Capricorn full moon is upon us. In the natal chart, its one of the most mis-understood placements of the moon. People with Capricorn moon in their chart have incarnated to take on and learn about responsibility. Quite often they’re taxed with a parent that projects their lack of success or their own patterning of fear of failure onto their children. In many cases love becomes a material exchange between the parent and the child. If the child excels and succeeds, the parent will respond with love. This is not uncommon in the parent/child relationship, but with the Cap moon, it becomes the standard operating system. Unconditional love has a price to pay.

The Capricorn moon is usually seen as the mother, classically, it is the archetypal stage mom. However in the latter part of the 20th Century, with changing sex roles, it can also be the stay-at-home father, and this would raise a very different specter of the Cap moon.

Sometimes though, the Cap moon in the natal chart is simply a function of ones economic lot in life as well. One example would be being born into a family that has little resources, where both parents work, so the child with the Capricorn moon is forced into some form of contribution to the family early on. If they are one of the older children in a family with multiple kids, they’ll be the surrogate mom (or dad). Often Cap moon people work early in their lives and have paper routes, do baby sitting or keep the books for the family business. In many cases, the Cap moon individual has a truncated childhood. While their friends are out and about, splashing in puddles and exploring their worlds with the exuberance of innocence, the Cap moon child is practicing the violin, being shuttled back and forth to some practice or recital or changing a dirty diaper. How does this affect the Cap moon adult?

In the adult life of the Cap moon individual, feelings are often remote and there is an unspoken accounting for all emotional transactions. If there aren’t other aspects in the chart that can soften the Cap moon and allow for the individual to develop a sense of empathy and compassion, it can be more than just cool, it can be cruel and calculating, since the individual has become entrained with the notion of emotional reward based on some form of emotional achievement. As a result, there can be a sense of developing relationships based solely for their ability to move the individual with the Cap moon forward, both professionally and socially. The Cap moon individual creates a social hierarchy of who they will “invest” their time and energy with. Deep down though, these people want to be loved and liberated from their need to achieve to receive.

The plus side of the Cap moon manifests in the middle and later passages of the individuals life. If they’ve followed their moon, they’re usually in pretty good place financially by their forties and fifties, which means they are more inclined to retire early and begin to catch up on the childhood they lost. Slowly, they begin to shed layers of their conditioning and emotional armor. While life has beaten down many of their contemporaries, the individual with the Cap moon is just getting started. They discover the wonder of life and since Cap is an earth sign, they are very attuned to nature and find deep emotional resonance in the wild, alone or with others. Beneath the cool facade, Cap moon people are passionate and
earthy lovers. Once the ice melts, they can revel in the senses and enjoy long and extended sessions of love making. Its not uncommon for Cap moon people to marry older people in their youth and find younger lovers in their silver years.

Capricorn is also very connected to shamanic mystery traditions and if the person with the Cap moon has any interest in indigenous wisdom and healing, they would be willing students and given their penchant for preparation, fine teachers and translators of these traditions. The one thing that the Cap moon parent must watch out for is repeating the cycle of conditional love with their children. If they can wait a bit until they have achieved something of note for themselves, they can be very good parents that can provide for their children without sacrificing feeling.

People with Saturn either conjuncting or squaring the Moon can often exhibit the same challenges/transformations of the individual with the Cap moon.

As a collective, emotional resonator of this Cap moon, people are likely taking stock of their emotional and physical reserves. There’s a sense of lucidity in the air and not taking things for granted. Opposing the nurturing Sun in Cancer, we have the reverse of the alchemical marriage as the solar agency of will is in the feminine expression of Cancer, while the emotional component of the Moon is in the most masculine of the earth signs, Cap.

The inner dialog would include a lengthy conversation of how prepared are you to take care of those that you love, in almost any social condition? There would also be a look at how much the individual itself has to successfully navigate the latter years of their lives. Getting work done now is highlighted so that people can relax a bit and enjoy the 4th of July mid-week celebration.

On a meta-level, we’re staring down the dynamic of the US and the creeping corporate consciousness of US INC., versus the nostalgic image of America as a place where lives and dreams are nurtured and families indulge in the unquestioned hope of legacy. That’s not a given anymore. The nation as a whole is likely meditating on a future that looks a lot more like 1984 than 1954.

Take advantage of this Moon and take stock of your life, count your blessings and give thanks. Saddle up and learn how to extract water from a cactus, the wagon train is heading westward into the deep of unknown psychic territories.

On a bit of a side note, the Hadron Super Collider at CERN has apparently found the God particle. Well, the good news is, is that it might silence all those atheist scientists that have denied the existence of God. The bad news is, is that they now think they are God. In many ways, its a very Capricornian experience by using science and the apex of technological achievement in an attempt to name and harness the mystery of creation. God help us with that one.
