Mercury is still rolling backwards into the head of the solar system, like a rave kid on E and Skrillex. The cosmic irises recede back into the crown, craning into the cranium for some kind of spark, some kind of electric connection with the pineal gland, a crystalline antenna to the human grid, caked and clouded by the heavy metals falling from the Terran skies. We’re arcing, sparking for that connection that brings us closer to the true anima mundi, not the deadening horizontal waves of the lesser transmissions. Are you high enough yet on Sochi drama? Is Ukraine draining your brain? Has the cult of the serpent, the worshippers of Molech commanded enough of your attention yet? Michael Sam is Rosa Parks. Jason Collins is Jackie Robinson. Soon, Liberace will be Jesus Christ in sequins and mascara. These are how the new rules for humanity are written, with the constant bombardment of diss information. Somehow, somewhere, inside the tiny space between your two lower eyes and that sadly atrophied third one is the interzone of the new reality, the new dawn of people that are self determined and unafraid of any status quo judgment.
This, in my estimation has always been what the Aquarian Age was about. It’s not some kind of destination or arrival, but a flexible and scalable model that adjusts itself over linear time, through time.
When I was young, my goal was to expand my consciousness as far and wide as I could, mostly with the use of high powered chemicals. In my visionary world we communed with loving, off planet species and the ones that lived here had a higher level of atunement with us. I was, in my own way, floating in my own space towards a galactic awareness of one.
I was a bastard child in some ways of Leary and Kesey. I loved the faux mysticism of Leary’s Tibetan laced LSD rituals and yet I reveled in the pure experience of the pranksters ethos. It would be years later that I would realize that I was being programmed by both. But the Aquarian dream was very real, a signal of unification shot through every cellular gateway as the awareness of the Cosmic Christ. Think Piscean Age, 24/7, in quadraphonic sound. A living, breathing, ministry of the real, without the four walls and stained glass.
Now, thirty plus years later, the Aquarian vibration is like a wave moving in the other direction for me, as this simulacra of enlightened living assumes borg-like proportion. People rarely think for themselves. There’s plenty of hand wringing and cheerleading for the progressive vision of universal love, but trust me on this friends, it’s going to a place that is much darker than people realize. It’s from the outside in and this is not a popular concept at all. In fact, it’s downright hateful or ignorant in the minds of politically enlightened. If you step outside of the rainbow chalk marks on the playground of the mind, you are the new heretic and your voice can be wiped out in the brief span of five minutes of hate. Just ask Alec Baldwin, who had been the poster boy of progressive politics in some ways. He said a slightly wrong thing at the wrong time, and the pink mafia had him in their crosshairs. Now he’s running for cover, cross the country, to the gated mansions of Malibu and Santa Monica. It’s the not-so-subtle form of censorship, the splinter in the mind that Morpheus referred to. How is this Aquarian?
The spirit of Aquarius summons the energy of the Tower, it is the true unleashing of chaos and as the status quo has quickly moved into petrified criticisms of anything that doesn’t embrace perversion of beauty, morality and truth, then we need to re-evalute that same spirit energy. Aquarius shakes things up, blasts the norm and brings a thunder storm to the plains of common experience. To this end, we need to reclaim it as radical energy which is the harbinger of something quite different; the fully realized image of universal consciousness (God) and man/woman acting as true catalysts that support life, not the denigration of it. We need to stand by those who want to self determine, whether it’s growing their own food, developing their own free energy or reclaiming the decimated waters and skies of our planet.
The true spirit of Aquarius stands against “the-mind-forged-mannacles” as Blake called them and it is in opposition to systems that want to enslave the divine spirit. So I ask you, are you willing to agree to the sliding scale of morality where up is down, left is right, love is hate, beauty is ugly, women are men and men are women and if you don’t dig it, there’s a boot on your neck? Hell, even if you do groove with that kind of pineapple-upside-down-planet, there’s no guarantee that you’ll get a free ride on the rainbow unicorn of light.
Aquarius calls us to re-think our position with the status quo and as of 2/25/14, my perspective of it is anything but the conservative mind lock of the Reagan era. With Mercury retrograde, in Aquarius, it’s time for a true, re-examination of the Uranian vibration of change in our times.

In the quantum now of my universe I seem to have to be posting in a different fashion, since my time has become fairly constrained for now, so instead of epic posts that are real time/energy reaches for me now, I’ll be posting more frequently but with less words, sad to say, since I love the written word and accessing it is a truly healing balm for Chiron in Aquarius in my 3rd House. It heals the eternal wound, key after key, entering and returning, activating the key shift and delete moments in my life.
Speaking of Chiron and other assorted asteroids, a story broke yesterday that “Planet Resources” a mega company funded by the founders of google and James Cameron (yes that James Cameron) are planning on mining asteroids, under the research and findings that certain asteroids could yield more platinum on one, flying speck of rock, than all the platinum mined on the history of Earth. Now this my be some astronomical hype for a titanic IPO, or it could be the next big thing in resource extraction. I think its not only interesting, but deeply ironic that Cameron made a shit load of money from a film about the egregious mining and ore extraction of an Earth company on a distant planet. Its only a movie–right?
A quick peak at yesterdays sky map shows Ceres the asteroid associated with nurturing and replenishing the essence of life at 5 degrees Taurus, conjunct the Taurus Sun, at 3 degrees. Taurus of course is emblematic of the Earth, gems, minerals, etc. Ceres in Taurus speaks of an overflow, an abundance of all things Taurus and earthy, and minerally, etc., etc. It lead the Sun when the story broke yesterday around PR’s intentions. The Taurus Sun was chasing Ceres. Vesta was at 26 degrees, in pioneering Aries. Vesta represents focus and commitment. Here in Aries, it’s all about breaking through and accessing innovation (often without a great deal of deliberation). An interesting side note is that NASA launched “Dawn” in 2007, a probe to actually interact with both Ceres and Vesta. Dawn reached Vesta in August of last year and will contact Ceres in February of 2015.
What this story really speaks to though is the technological divide that is getting wider and wider between the haves and the have nots (and this is just the permissible version of it). People like Page, Bryn, Cameron, Gates, Eric Schmidt, Peter Thiel and others are using their enormous resources to access the best minds and technologies to further separate themselves from the rest of humanity. The techno gap is getting wider, deeper and longer. But will it make their lives better? Will they all use nano-tech to prolong their lifespans to 3-400 years so that they can achieve god-like status? For those of us less monetarily endowed, I think we can all say that they can kiss our asteroids.
Today’s Sun/Mars trine at 1 degree is a brilliant catalyst to get things done. There’s martial/jovial energy in the air. With the Moon in Gemini, conversation should be lively and sprightly. Get out and make the most of the fresh Spring energy. As the moon shifts into Cancer on Wednesday and for all of you gardeners out there that did not get the jump on the Taurus Moon and planting on Friday/Saturday, The Cancer Moon gives you a nice second chance to get things in the ground.
On the Healthcare debate, whatever happens today during the fiery exchanges held on the house floor, the repercussions will be felt mainly on Wednesday as the Cancer Moon will oppose Pluto in Capricorn. Expect everything from out and out crankiness to passive/aggressive acts of civil disobedience. All-in-all, the energy today sets the stages for a week of initiation and making tinges happen. Put your passion into play.
Speaking of the Gemini Moon, we’ll have Alan Tower (Gemini) on FAR tonight. He’ll be with me from 9-10PM PST. From 8-9PM PST, I’ll be doing live, free mini-readings. Alan will be discussing his latest project inspired by “Avatar” as well as his remarkable theories around natural resonance and sound integration. Please join us.
Two days ago the top searches on Yahoo! were 911 attacks and cloning. Is something in the air? If a butterfly flaps it’s wings in China and there’s a storm in Africa, what happens when small pecks of random thoughts enter the noosphere, circulating like digital neurons around a collective, virtual soultron, accumulating mass faster and faster as The Hadron Collider spins, bending the space/time curve while HAARP is carving crystalline divots in the sky just prior to the lurching of plates and the slumber of dragons interrupted? How does all of this affect our thoughts as we send them out into the teletype of the void? We cannot predict. This blog has readers the world over and it’s not the only one. We are transmitting and consuming information at light speed, at a rate that even the hardiest mainframes in Geneva cannot keep up with. Ultimately, we are the virus in the program, not the other way around, though it seems like it at times.
Illusion reigned supreme in Hollyweird, Neptune’s children under his watery Sun, second Sun, Venus and Uranus, nuzzling in their warm proximity to the gilled god were feted and celebrated. But did it really matter? Did anyone really care? My doppelganger won for best actor. I’m happy for the dude. Sandra Bullock proved that she has more staying power and box office clout than Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts combined. But what about the big ticket items? “The Hurt Locker” and “Avatar” ? Ironically the films were directed by an ex-husband and wife and they were about a make-believe war on a distant planet, and a make-believe war in a distant country. Illusion reigned supreme.
Some months back, I started to muck around the fibril goo of trans-humanism, getting all sloppy in Uranian vats of Piscean possibility and pleomorphic fetishes. Remember, Capricorn was once a Sea-Goat, a hybrid from another space and time. The archer is half-man/half-horse, Chiron his kindly brethren. The zodiac is sprinkled with transgenic modeling. Are the twins really twins or did they emerge from neighboring test tubes on a continent now submerged? Is history about to repeat itself? Is Rahm Emmanuel part ferret?
I remember one time when I was landing my bodysuit, ever so gently after a group experience on some mighty medicine and one of my fellow travelers was stuck between worlds, caught in the net of his own ego. What’s a pro-active shaman (not me) supposed to do? Why hit him with a spike full of Ketamine because he can’t get off the fence of course! I watched him devolve into a proto-human, howling for his caged soul to be released, not as 20th century man, but something more primal and hurt from lifetimes of pretending to live by rules that were contrary to it’s nature. There’s way, way more to our DNA than we know or might even imagine.
“Nonymous,” one of my favorite readers hails from Italy, so he might know a little bit about fascism. He chimed in with a comment that the last time Uranus was in Aries, it gave rise to The Third Reich, which of course was where Eugenics really took hold in the modern world. Huxley must have been stiff for weeks on end when he found out about IBM’s punch card technology, employed to begin mapping the racial genome of Europe. That handy little piece of technology, as primitive as it now seems was the operating system of Eugenics, which now goes by a new name, “Trans-humanism.” I suppose you could thrown “Trans-genics” into the mix as well. And guess what we have coming around as Uranus slides into Aries? The national census again typing, branching and grouping. Categorizing our status. Is it really necessary?
When I ask if it’s really necessary, I’m not decrying it’s implementation, nor am I advocating that you burn it in some faux revolutionary fuck you. But let’s be real for a nano-second. You have a computer, you have cable TV, you have a cell phone, you have discount cards to any number of stores. You have credit and debit cards. You might even have a fast tracker on your car to speed you through toll lanes. Gotta GPS? Now I ask you, with all of those open access ports and all the loopholes in The Patriot Act, with Facebook tracking your every post, Yahoo selling your emails to The DOD, Verizon and other cell phone providers offering key codes to back doors, do we really need a census? Isn’t there enough of us out there already? Just a thought. Read the rest of this entry »
It was about three weeks ago when Ken Warren and I had one of our weekly astrology sessions. Ken was my student, but it was never work with him. It was more like some co-mingling of spirits in an ongoing dialog into the mysteries of the chart, logos, creation and God. Ken had an uncanny […]
Guess who funded the Mohammed cartoon contest? Boulder 7AM. I’ve just finished two plates of spongiform matter that resembles eggs. The bacon looks like it’s been skinned directly off the backs of unsuspecting pigs. I try to cover the mass consumption in thick gravy, sans biscuit. It’s so generic and bland, but it’s free and […]
What happens when you mix black and white? You get Gray. In Baltimore, under the last degrees of Venus in Gemini, the poles of duality finally clash and the result is Gray, as in Freddie Gray. I can almost set my calendar to this social kindling, the bonfires of the ignorant and sleeping. All hell […]
Tetrad III There’s a slightly lurid nature about this Moon, about to go into full eclipse mode, just hours from now, a Blood Moon, on Passover and Easter. While the two are routinely grouped together, they couldn’t be more different. In fact, this Blood Moon, with all of it’s rapture porn overtones, is in some […]
The Dawn Of A New Day One of the main tenets of Tibetan Buddhism is to die before you die. In a culture that is obsessed with not only youth, but immortality, everything that is related to the organic process of vegetation, and dying is held at bay for as long as we can. Our […]
Did we just avert WWIII? One of the fascinating aspects of this last eclipse was the conjunction of the New Moon on the Vernal Equinox. This happens every 19 years. It’s called “The Metonic Cycle.” While this phenomenon occurs every 19 years, the Nodes begin their journey through the signs, which take almost the same […]
Black Hole Sun. It’s the astrological highlight of the year, maybe even the century itself. The old prophets stir in their graves of memory and time. The new ones proclaim everything from WWIII to a breakaway shift that snaps the old world and the new in two. CERN’s hum grows as Europe and the world […]
