Sitting in the middle of the country, it seems like I can get a bird’s eye view of the extremities crashing in on magnetic waves from the left and right coasts. Being smack dab in the middle is perhaps more metaphoric realism than I can handle.
Just this past week, Rob Brezsny posted this on Facebook; “”As much as we might be dismayed by the actions of our political leaders, I hypothesize that toppling any particular junta, clique, or elite is irrelevant unless we also overthrow the sour, puckered mass hallucination that is mistakenly called “reality,” including the part of that hallucination we foster in ourselves. The revolution begins at home. If you overthrow yourself again and again, you might earn the right to help overthrow the rest of us.”
Sounds great and golly wonderful on the surface, but I’ve heard this refrain from Brezsny before. He never wants to get his hands dirty or sullied when it comes naming perps, pointing out obvious agendas or stopping liars in their tracks. It’s this kind of spiritual solipsism that I couldn’t wait to get away fast enough from in California.
Since I’ve heard it from Rob before, or some variation of it, it feels like he’s saying, “There’s nothing you can do about it, so you might as well just do that rigorous navel gazing often defined as “inner work.” It reeks of a type of spiritual impotence masquerading as sage wisdom. Overthrow your own stifling regime first. That sounds great, but what does it mean and when are we supposedly ready to get back to the business of re-claiming the world from the psychopaths that snatched it from us?
Brezsny isn’t alone. I’ve heard variations on the theme from the likes of Mark Morford and Caroline Casey.
They don’t or won’t tackle the knotty issues of our time, like Chemtrails, 911 and the thorny rise of a totalitarian state through excessive debt that’s used as massive leverage against countries, including this one. But Rob, in particular chooses to deflect any type of focused attention on these subjects.
Meanwhile, in New York, the art-damaged millennial, Damien Crisp and I got into it on FB. Crisp apparently is some kind of well known Occupier. Unlike Brezsny, he’s down for revolution. He stands with the people of the the world in their urgent struggle against corporations and militarized tyranny. Like Rob’s taoist dictum, it sounds good on the surface, but drill down a little and you’ll find out that Crisp hates the USA and wants to see it fail and fall as the USA and it’s policies are the reason why the world is such a dreadful mess. I told him that it’s a planned demolition and the desecration of the county was a conscious manipulation, a poison PR, toxifying the global perspective of the USA so when it goes down in flames, people won’t care and will even cheer it on. I also told him to be careful what he wished for, because he might get it and the result might be even worse than the rapid free fall we’re in now.
Unlike Brezsny, he’s game for just about anything, unfortunately, he has no grounding on who did what, when and why. He’s never heard of the “Creature From Jeckyl Island,” Col. House, Bernard Baruch and the “Hell Bomb” or the dark networks that have intertwined and coiled like serpents together over the folds of history.
He wasn’t interested in these “theories.”
I’ve encountered this before with the so-called, turned on left. They never want to know names, or dates, or histories, or internecine connections. They’re much more comfortable with broad and monolithic labels like, “The Oligarchy,” “The Elite,” and now, “The One Percent.” Never mind who they are.
Crisp was just interested in ripping apart the top-down structure–that’s it.
So on side of the country there’s Rob Breszny whose only call to action is inaction and on the other, there’s Crisp who is ready to throw down, but only if it’s global nihilism with a Marxist twist..
So I decided that it would probably be best if all three of us had a cage match to determine whose overarching theory of how to save the world while ridding it of it’s evil scourge would win. I think it would go something like this.
Brezsny would show up in a pink, one piece wrestling leotard with a hole cut out for the navel, because that’s where he would place a diamond sutra. He’d have to wear Chuck Taylor’s and some of those old 3D glasses from the 50′s for ironic effect.
Crisp would no doubt agonize over his choice of attire, wanting it to be a statement of some sort, but not too much so that he could then be accused of some sort affected hipsterism. He’d probably show up in a pair of leather Gucci shorts that he would have torn, burnt and peed on as some sort of anti-corporate statement. I think he’d probably have his entire body given a Brazilian wax, so that he could stand in solidarity with the people of Sao Paolo.
Of course, I’d have to wear a pair of Ben Davis overalls, because they’re still made in America, but I’d also have to wear a hemp t-shirt underneath, just let people know that I have some alternative cred as well. I’d also have to shave my head because somebody has to be the bad guy and besides, I wouldn’t want Crisp to pull my hair.
Here’s how the epic, battle royal would go down. I think Rob and I would go at it, pummeling our well worn, middle aged bodies into the canvas of oblivion. But I think I can take Rob. My inner redneck is crazier than his inner bolshevik and I have Mars square Sun, which is thermonuclear when activated. While Rob and I are duking it out, Crisp will be Occupying the turnbuckle.
Just as i am about to put Brezsny into an iron-cross-hammer-lock, the same one that the Tibetans taught Hitler’s officers, Crisp flies off the turnbuckle, spouting Derrida, as he jumps onto my back like a jackal. Of course, while he’s going after me, Breszny recovers and is teaming up with Crisp, because if you go far enough to the edge of any extreme, they’ll both meet up and then do some sort of sweaty, ideological man hug thing.
It’s not looking good for yours truly, but just about the time when Crisp is going rip my overalls off me as sort of some symbolic gesture, there’s a flash of light and before us, Jesus appears. Although it looks a lot more like SiStar MyRah than Jesus, much to the surprise of the viewing audience.
SiStar MyRah tells us to stop–we do. Then she says that, “We’re just a by-product of strategy set up to divide and conquer all of us and that we should work together to defeat the real evil on the planet.”
Dumbfounded and in awe of this miracle, we shake our heads yes. “Okay then” she says, “Let’s make it happen!
Before we know it, right before our very eyes, the forces of evil are summoned to do battle with us, right there, right then. It’s kind of like that old Star Trek episode where Kirk, Spock, Abe Lincoln and some famous Vulcan have to fight the most evil men of the universe throughout all time on a neutral planet, refereed by an alien that looks like a giant clump of dogshit with Christmas lights.
There before us are Dick Cheney, Hilary Clinton, Benjamin Netenyahu and Bill Gates. In theory, the only one I’m worried about is Bibi, since I know he’s got some badass Kravmaga training from his IDF days.
I remind SiStar MyRah that there’s four of them and just three of us. She says don’t worry, I’ve added another member to your team. I look to my left and it’s David Wilcock! SisTar MyRah says, “I tried to find a woman to fight Hilary, but David was as close as I could get.” She also tells me that it’s been nearly ten days since Hilary’s last botox treatment and that all we have to do is hold a mirror up to her and she’ll go into full on Medusa mode.
I look at Cheney and he might not be as much of a pushover as we think. In fact, he has a new heart and the dark rumor is that it’s Trayvon Martin’s. That’s the last thing we need; the heart of an angry, young, black male whose was life was cut short. If it’s true, Cheney could be trouble. Now he supposedly has a member the size of Delaware and I doubt that even the most sophisticated supporters could hold that in.
I tell Breszny to go to the dragon’s head, because that’s where he’ll defeat the beast. Luckily, Wilcock had been working on a hyperbolic refractor that doubles as a mirror and he brought it with him. Snakes ahoy!
I mention to Crisp that Gates could be a lot more dangerous than he appears. He might have a few shots of some wicked ass vaccines hidden in his boot.
It looks like I get Bibi. I’m already exhausted from the previous match so I have to think fast. I look into the audience and there’s a hot dog vendor. I ask him if the hot dog is beef or pork and he says “pork.” Hallelujah! I grab it and brandish it right in from of Bibi’s grill. He steps backwards. It’s like kryptonite. This flaccid bludgeon of porcine menace has become my excalibur! I’m slapping Bibi in the face repeatedly with it. He’s helpless–can’t do a thing. It’s so bad, it’s like a scene from the Three Stooges and I’m Moe and he’s Curly. I’m just about to plunge the sweaty dog right into his third eye and all of sudden it’s grabbed right out of my hand by Crisp flashing a wicked grin! I’m not sure if he’s a double agent or is so hell bent on America’s destruction that like the scorpion and the frog, he just can’t help himself.
Well, by now, Bibi has recovered and summoned a 3,000 year-old Babylonian demon to finish me off. It looks bad. Lights out for America. And then I hear Breszny, “Just surrender man.” And that’s what I do. I lay back on the canvas and await my fate and just when the demon is about suck my soul dry, they all disappear–every single one of them–except SiStar MyRah. She says to me, “Robert this was all for you. All of it. You created every single one of them. Even me. And now that you let go of the struggle and the fight, they have dissolved and now I will go as well. But remember you couldn’t get here without the struggle.” And I ask, “What about them, did they get the same lesson too.” She replied, “it doesn’t matter because you’re free now and they don’t even exist. Oh and one other thing. Drop the hot dogs. Your blood pressure is 140 over 99.” And with that, she was gone.
Just five hours to game time and I have to get in a quick post. Spent almost all of last night bolting down the newsletter, where I go into the ritual of the Super Bowl in a more in-depth fashion. There are some very interesting aspects to note about the sky at kick-off in New Orleans, Polaris, the pole star will be at the center of the horizon, appearing in the sky, halfway up to the dark apex of night. Just to the left of Polaris, the tail of Draco hangs and appears to drop into the very Earth itself. The brightest star in the Draco constellation is “Thuban.” It was actually the pole star prior to Polaris moving into, uh, well, the pole position. It was considerably brighter then, The Great Pyramis at Khufu was oriented to “Thuban” according to archaeologists, even though the pyramid would have been built around 2200 BCE, about 500 years after the reign of Khufu. E.W. Bullinger, author of The Witness To The Stars (1893) had this to say about “Thuban.”;
“Thuban (Heb), the subtle. Some 4,620 years ago it was the Polar Star. It is still a very important star in nautical reckonings, guiding the commerce of the seas, and thus ‘the god of this world’ is represented as winding in his contortions round the pole of the world, as if to indicate his subtle influence in all worldly affairs.”
The english translation of “Thuban” is “snake” or “dragon.” Archibald Sayce, the famed Biritish Assyriologist had this to essentially said that Thuban was a star of great devotion and importance in the astrological/astronomical work of Sargon I, King of Agade, where he made Thuban the pole star aka “Tir-An-na” (which is likely where we derive the word “tyranny”) and the Life of Heaven; Dayan Same, the Judge of Heaven; and Dayan Sidi, the Favorable Judge,- all representing the god Caga Gilgati, whose name it also bore. Also cited for this star, Thuban, Draconis Dayan Esiru, the Prospering Judge, or the Crown of Heaven, and Dayan Shisha, the Judge Directing, as having the highest seat amongst the heavenly host. Here is what the great Ptolemy had to say about Thuban according to Vivian Robson;
“According to Ptolemy the bright stars are like Saturn and Mars. Draco gives an artistic and emotional but somber nature, a penetrating and analytical mind, much travel and many friends, but danger of robbery and accidental poisoning. It gives craft, ingenuity, and valor. The Ancients said that when a comet was th here, poison was scattered over the world. By the Kabalists it is associated with the Hebrew letter Mem and the 13 Tarot Trump, Death”.
Lastly, Thuban might actually bear some symbolic significance to the game itself and not just a darker, ritual import. The classical astrologer, George C. Noonan chimes in with some interesting correlations for Niner fans;
“When rising, Thuban indicates prospectors of gold and silver or those who are ministers of money (this might include accountants, clerical workers, cashiers etc. nowadays). If setting and If Mars is conjunct the Descendant or in harsh aspect with it, it is said to presage the native being burned in his own house or killed by public execution.”
Later in this piece, we’ll determine if Thuban is ascending or falling.
From a mundane perspective, at the start of the game, the ASC is in the sign of Leo (Sun/Gold). Most of the key players in this game are on the other fixed point of Scorpio, Taurus and Aquarius. Both Frank Gore and Ray Lewis (Taurus) will be front and center early in the game with Taurus on the MC. Lewis’ emotionality is not a put on. His chart is heavily doused with water, having Venus and Saturn in Cancer and Mars in Pisces. He’ll have a strong Saturn/Saturn trine today and the Scorpio Moon will trine his Mars. Ray Lewis will be pumped up for this game (states the obvious) and he has incredible, emotional support flowing in his direction. Mars is at 1 degree Pisces today and while this won’t affect Lewis as much (though he will get a hit), it does impact Ray Rice, whose Sun is at 2 degrees Pisces. So Ray will have a Sun/Mars conjunction. Plenty of Juice there. Look for him to have an extremely strong game. One last thing about the other Ray though. Lewis will have a Sun/Moon opposition as well and this, in fixed signs could be trouble for him, including muscle strain or pulls near the sacral region. With Scorpio, Colin Kaepernick, he sizes up as Lewis’ other, his shadow and it will be Lewis that will likely shadow Kaepernic on the filed today.
Immovable object meets irresistible force.
Both men will have their moments, but there will be one, where Kaepernick makes Ray look his age in a very apparent fashion.
Speaking of Kapernick, his Sun starts out at the nadir of the chart, which means potentially another slow start for the Niners. But as the game progresses, his Sun shifts the more mercurial 3rd House, where his running and passing really take off from the third quarter on.
He has Sun in Scorpio with Pluto conjunct his Sun by a one degree orb. Transiting Saturn is conjuncting both and then there’s that stinger moon. Throw in mutual reception of Pluto in Capricorn to his Sun and Kaeprnick is ready to make a star turn. Based on astrology, this is a moment of destiny. The only thing that could derail him is making risky decisions, want too much, succumbing to the desire of the Scorpio Moon.
Later in the game, as the ASC moves into Virgo, Ed Reed and Michael Crabtree’s numbers move to the fore, with emphasis on them in 4th quarter. Linebacker, Novarro Bowman’s, Gemini Sun is poised to reap the benefits of Gemini on the MC. Look for him to make a key play late in the game. Lastly as the game winds down, the all-important Part-O-Fortune or Pars Fortuna is in Sagittarius. Niner fans, you may not want to hear this, but it could come down to your kicker, Sag, David Akers to win this game.
The Ravens are riding a collective “wave of destiny” vibe and there’s not telling how the gods of the league want Ray Lewis to end his career, so there’s some heavily weighted intangibles on their side.
On a side note, digging around my research last night, I stumbled upon the official and unofficial patron saints of New Orleans. On the official side, we have St. Expedite, an enigmatic saint, of which very little is known. He was a Roman (Italian) soldier who denounced Rome and became a citizen of the Kingdom of God. He’s always portrayed with a cross instead of sword in his hand. On a symbolic level, this could be Kaepernick, but here, I believe it’s Flacco, the Ravens QB of Italian, descent. The other, un-official saint of New Orleans, is Baron Samedi, guardian of the underworld. In essence, he’s a devil figure and very, very popular around Mardi Gras, which is where we are now, in the middle of a two-week-Mardi Gras break. Samedi is usually portrayed with one half of his face white, with the other black, which symbolizes duality. Samedi=Kaepernick and his deep Scorpionic, underworld energies. In fact, one of the tattoos on his arm, from the bible, essentially says that, “my gift is my curse.” Draco, Samedi, Scorpio, Kaepernick. and based almost solely on Kaepernick’s big moment chart, I’m going with the Niners in a 27-24 victory, especially since Thuban/Draco, is ascending and in the sign of Virgo at game time. Thuban rules prospectors and in Super Bowl 47, The Niners strike gold.
New Moon, Sag, and we must choose between holy optimism and the cross of cognitive dissonance, because things have never been better and worse. In the next 3,000 words and two other astrologers later, you’ll get some understanding as to why. I’ve asked Theo White and Molly Hall to share some text surrounding 12/21/12 and beyond. Yesterday, on my show, Navigating the Astrological Matrix, all of us convened for two hours and discussed the tenor of our times at a high level. If you have any interest in astrology and the things to come, you don’t want to miss out on this deeply informative roundtable. What makes it compelling is that it took place on 12/12/12 and the four of us roughly comprised a Cardinal Cross, William (Aries), Molly (Cancer), Theo (Capricorn) and myself (Virgo/Libra).
The skies are filled with positive energy, rippling through the Sun, Moon and Mercury. One of the most powerful attributes in Sag is the transmission of utter faith and the unshakable knowledge to know that one’s position is the correct one. Of course, these leads to a particular type of zealotry, which rears it’s ugly head, mainly in religion. The US ASC, which is Sag, based on the Sibley chart, which I use, is a perfect container for the type of religious freedom that has always been afforded to people moving here. In fact, the early Dutch were fleeing a land where religious freedoms were not only curtailed, but brutally punished.
It was here, in the US where “The Second Great Awakening” took place, between 1790 and 1820. In fact, the reformation which was started in Europe by the likes of Luther, Calvin and more importantly Jacob Aminius, a disciple of Theodore Beza, who was taught by Calvin, led to the charismatic movement that man could be “saved” through an ecstatic conversion, even though Christ had supposedly died for mans sins. This methodology gave rise to the charismatic tradition in the United States, which is now woven into the belief-matrix of the country as the fundamental default, for non-Catholic, Christians.
The Second Great Awakening gave rise to the revival movement, which exists to this very day. It spawned the likes of Joseph Smith, who attended revivals as a young man on the East Coast. In essence, The Second Great Awakening might be considered, in retrospect, the New Age of Christianity in America.
In 1790, Pluto was in Aquarius and the message was decidedly one of religious and personal freedom, liberating belief from the shackles of a systematic faith. By (subtly) re-inventing the process through which Christians could be saved again and again and again, Arminius and Calvin staged a religious coup of sorts, under the radical and transformational aspect of Pluto in Aquarius. This shows up in the US 3RD House of ideas and communication. What Americans prize more than any other thing, is to feel what they want without censure, even if it’s some far flung faith or ideology. This is amplified by the mutual reception of Mars in Gemini, giving the collective feeling one of almost radical consent. I mean where else would someone like Bill Ayers, who advocated the killing of people he deemed traitorous to the US, become a pillar of the new establishment?
This morning, I was on the phone with my friend Lawrence, a chemtrail watchdog in upstate New York. We were talking about how some people have a nearly violent aversion to waking up and we sourced how that for the most part, it’s people that are convinced that the country is on the right track, with the right leadership and the right programs in place to get us to a better day. That means the bulk of progressive America. But as we see, that bulk was really, only around 55%, if you can trust the data. That means that the country is split right in two, which is the goal by the way. Achieving some sort of harmony or unity, whether it’s on the right or the left is not really the endgame, well at least not right now. A divided house is a conquerable house and this is exactly what the father of social activism, Aquarian, Saul Alinsky knew, in fact, it was the pillar of his political strategy. Alinsky thought that if you could polarize people, then they could be moved. That programs and agendas could be inserted into the polarized and negative space. Little did Alinsky know, that this would be the very same strategy that scientists would use to insert radical genes into plants and thus create the genetically modified genome. By introducing a virus, the plant must split it’s attention to combat the virus and sustain it’s overall functions. In that split, the plant is polarized and thus distracted. That’s when the radical gene is inserted and the plant itself, doesn’t even really know. Its adopts it and adapts it under the white-gloved, sleight-of-hand. Now that’s not to say that it won;t have an impact 15 generations down the line, but in the immediate, the polarization allowed for a new program to be inserted.
As a nation, we have been socially engineered to operate in a bi-cameral chamber of belief. Perhaps, with Jupiter moving froward next year in Gemini, we might be able to recognize this to a greater extent, but I have my doubts.
So with the Sag ASC, the US became fertile ground for the charismatic tradition which has spawned a gazillion offshoots, some as wide ranging as Freemasonry and Scientology, to Islam and the arcane fusion of national identity and religious belief, Zionism.
By 1807, Neptune had moved into Sag and the revival movement was in full sway. In 1813, Uranus would kick into Sag as well, adding a radical fervor to the strange hybrids of faith to rise out of the collective soil of the new world. So as we the fires of Sag burn bright in the mid-winters night, know in your heart that faith is a real, spiritual commodity and how it’s shared is a personal choice. Can faith exist in an environment, where we must, periodically re-examine our beliefs? Or does our faith have to die and become re-born like the Phoenix when we discard outworn beliefs? I think we’re going to find out in the days to come.
In a post by sometime next week, I’ll get into 12/21/12 and beyond. But for now, let’s see how three, other astrologers view the upcoming portentous date and the year to follow.
MOLLY HALL (About.com)
“Let’s reconcile with our Creator and our Mother Earth, each one in our own way. For us the Maya will be with our Sacred Fire.” A message about 2012 (www.shiftoftheages.com/Maya-Message-2012) from Maya Elder Wakatel Utiw, translated as “Wandering Wolf” and known also as Cirilo Perez Oxlaj
Wandering Wolf warns about great suffering ahead if the human species continues in the same way, saying “All this is due to the contamination.” He urges an end to the poisoning of the air, soil and water – the very foundation of life. He says, “This is the only way the human race, the animals and the ancient trees could survive and see the new Sun*.
Astrologer-mythologist John Lash uses this word – contamination – to describe what he calls the western narrative spell (of 2012). But he makes mention of a striking coincidence — that the Hindu world age known as the Kali Yuga is said to have started on 3102 BCE, with the death of Krishna. And how very close it is to the presumed start date of the Mayan calendar, 3114 BCE. Like Wandering Wolf, he sees a confrontation here, at the extended end of an age.
Lash does heavy lifting – he lifts up the overlay – of religion and recent history – for his readers to see that it actually is, an overlay. That’s the first step after all. In an article called Countdown to 2012, Reflections on Kali Yuga, the Maya Endtime, and the Western Narrative Spell, (www.metahistory.org/END#144687C ) Lash writes, “The forces set in motion at the dawn of Kali Yuga are now playing out their final stage, the endgame of patriarchy, the global showdown for theocratic fascism. It may not all end abruptly in December, 2012. More like than not, it won´t die with such elegant brevity. But in the way we approach the designated moment, mindful of the historical trajectory that brings us to it, something crucial to ending the lethal spell of patriarchy could be achieved.”
This is one way the “end of the world” as we’ve known it, is real, as humanity chooses either life or death. It’s the end of the line for preposterous beliefs that place us outside the living Earth, but only in our minds. It’s a return to the source, Mother Earth, and knowing that we’re intimately a part of her living body.
And so, with all its contradictions, the 2012 phenomenon has opened for me and perhaps for others, yet another path of initiation. It has lengthened the timeline of my imagination and drawn me toward my own indigenous lineages, particularly the Celts. And the quest to know has led to unearthing lost legacies and civilizations, and the paradigm-busting reality of cycles of time. It has inspired dialogues about ways to live, and why we’re here, on a planet that’s clearly undergoing epic change.
The Earth itself shows signs of great cataclysm, mysterious underwater ruins and hugely altered terrain. Is the 2012 disaster meme stirring up ancient fears of epic destruction? And in encountering the cyclic reality of Earth, are the doors opening for us to reclaim our own indigenous, Earth-allied powers?
A parallel narrative to the cultural meme of 2012, one of ending and beginning, is the astrological one. The main aspect carrying us to 2015 is the waxing square of Uranus (evolutionary urges) and Pluto (seeds of deep transformation). Uranus is in the fighting fire sign of Aries, that shouts out “I Am!” And Pluto is in Capricorn, the earth sign of ancestral lines and legacies.
The anguish of the square, in its cardinal (initiating) mode, is a driver to deal with a critical crossroads – a fight for survival as creative beings. It’s about soul retrieval, of the indigenous soul with all its open wounds. The restrictive overlay must be broken through, to experience the self-sourced lifeforce of Aries, a vital and brand new current running through. And in that vulnerable, but supercharged state, there’s an urgency to act on instinct, and go with original impulses that takes us into unknown territory.
The magic is in the individual first steps — these bold creative acts that are self-authorized. It’s an individual journey, that of the Fool. It’s one where despite overwhelming odds and a status quo that’s trying to put out the fire, we stay true to that emerging self. Each soul that dares is a protostar, reanimating the universe with life.
The Power to Choose
If we spiral our focus into the big day, December 21st, 2012, there’s a rare Yod, or “Hand of God.” There’s the old familiar (and relentlessly thorough!) churning of Pluto (in Capricorn), along with Saturn in Scorpio, Pluto’s own sign of deep psychic churning. These are in a mutually bolstering sextile to each other, and each forms a quincunx to Jupiter (in air sign Gemini).
In the turning over the toxic dirt and psyche of our age, there are treasures and hidden artifacts to be discovered. The Yod, also known as a “Finger of God,” it is pointing toward Jupiter, and the future. From the deep realizations about power and energy matrices that hold us in place, Jupiter inspires with a banquet of choice.
The quincunx is a hard-to-reconcile aspect, suggesting that it’s tough to leave the past behind. But a flash through the cracks shows us that what appears as solid, inevitable and “the way things have always been” is breaking down anyway. Jupiter is the matrix-buster. It’s a cosmic alert to get out from under the overlay, and breathe the fresh air.
The New Sun
Are you feeling a sense of being “on the verge?” Many I know feel unsettled, and this is mirrored by the instability of the Earth’s processes – weather, seismic activity, and the magnetosphere. Something is happening on a grand scale – the most hopeful myth is one of rebirth. But let’s pace ourselves, because this is a long labor.
Here now, and at every winter solstice, the New Sun is born out of its alignment with the galactic center. The Sun passing through the Milky Way is a powerful symbolic image, and the great river of stars would’ve been visible to the Maya and other ancient cultures. There’s a dark rift that’s the yoni portal, the starry belly and the pulsing heart of the galaxy.
In this pre-2012 era, the book I’ve turned to time and again is Dr. Christine Page’s 2012 and the Galactic Center, The Return of the Great Mother. She writes that the Maya foresaw the birth of their fifth world, as the Sun moved across the opening of the galactic center
This myth is about coming full circle, at the end of a great age, and getting right with creation. Dr. Page’s narrative mirrors what’s happening “as below,” with the re-emergence of the feminine, as a divine presence. After a long and terrible time of separation, it is a reconciliation, like the one Wandering Wolf calls for in his 2012 message.
As Winter Solstice nears, can we meet the moment with a pure heart? It’s about giving the feminine space and room to breathe, being receptive and following Jupiter’s lead that day, to trust in a higher order. Can we shake off the overlay of fear, cynicism, overstimulation and over-intellectualizing that crowds out the moment?
What messages will come through, as the Sun, Earth’s life-giving partner, aligns with the galactic center? Beyond the 2012 question, it’s an encounter with the center of creation, and its infinite possibilities. It’s a cosmic door thrown open, and a not-to-be-missed moment, in a greater age of awakening from spells, and finding our native power.
THEO WHITE (GlobalAstrology)
“The year 2008 entry of Pluto into the cardinal sign of Capricorn along with the ingress of Uranus into cardinal Aries in 2011 brought to a close a 42-year period that began in the year 1969 for a dying oligarchy and their children – the Baby Boomers.
That 42-year cycle had been defined by the inter-generational war between parents and children since the late 1960s. It was at that time that Uranus entered tropical Libra.
Uranus, in effect, has come ‘full circle’ as it is now ready to enter the opposite Sign to Libra and that is the Sign of Aries.
That 42-year history – 1969 to 2011 – was filled with the cultural, economic, geopolitical and social conflicts that were powerfully inherent and played out between the oligarchy born in the 1920s and 1930s, and their children of baby boomers, born in the 1940s and 1950s.
Ideology was the basis for this conflict.
It played out throughout the world in diverse ways, but always at odds with one another in black and white terms, with both generations choosing to ignore the many gray shades in between.
In the United States, a kind ‘compromise’ in this ideological war was struck in 1977 with the amnesty pardon of the Vietnam War deserters by then U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
The Baby Boomers returned to cultural life in the United States after 7.5 years of ‘dropping out’ – but the ideological war picked up again in the 1980s and then ended by the early 1990s when the boomers became the new establishment in that decade.
Uranus had transited six (6) signs over this 42-year period between 1969 to 2011 – spending seven years in each Sign – Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.
The oligarchy is represented by the generation that has Uranus in Pisces and Pluto in Cancer. The oligarchy born during the 1920s and 1930s have been experiencing their Uranus Returns and transiting Pluto is opposing their natal positions. They are passing away.
The Baby Boomer generation has Uranus in Gemini and early Cancer with Pluto in the Sign of Leo. They are now at the end of their time as the establishment.
The failure to notice, or even accept, the passage of time and aging has led to the baby boomer generational ‘dysfunction’ becoming more or less ‘maladaptive’ – as it spread through world society during the boomers’ time as establishment.
This is why this generation has been acting out. They know they are losing clout by the mere progression of time – of world transits – and so they have freaked out.
That is the reason why they want to push things unnaturally, out of order, so as to feel as if they accomplished their plans – which is called a ‘new world order’
That ‘order’ has led to the economic crisis which began in 2007-08 and that by the end of 2012 has seen many nations on the verge of economic collapse with the social and geopolitical upheavals associated with it.
Pluto’s transit in Capricorn represents a kind of ‘globalist group’ – a cadre of cold-blooded, old and outworn oligarchy – that falsely believes they will live forever. It is a disease of a generation that is godless.
Those behind the scenes continue to behave in ways that clearly show that they do not want the future to develop naturally, as it should, but with the continued interference of globalists who believe that they can “create” the future.
It is the same old tired mantra of history:
“Everyone wants to rule the world.”
But in reality, no one ‘rules’ anything.
One cannot stop the Sun from rising, from culminating, or setting anymore than one can stop the planets from performing their functions, or to make the Earth cease revolving around the Sun.
The only ‘power’ globalists have had has been to cause turmoil, tensions, disruptions and destruction.
But what is really happening is a replay – of the past.
The actions of this dying oligarchy are that of desperation.
In reality, Pluto transit in tropical Capricorn is a planetary ‘Phoenix Bird’ that reveals the crumbling and burning to ashes the outworn political and ideological structures of the 20th century.
The ‘phoenix’ of our historical era could obtain new life, a new structural form, as it arises from the ashes of its outworn predecessor – the late 20th century.
What the burning of Pluto’s ‘phoenix’ in Capricorn gives rise to is truly what is at stake in the early 21st century.
The forces of global change – the Cardinal Crisis – are reflected by the outer planets. The main inclinations of these cardinal forces on our Earth come about by means of Uranus’ squares from Aries to Pluto in Capricorn during the Twenty-Tens that will culminate at the end of the year 2020 in a “Cardinal Climax.”
How that ‘climax’ ends – and the shape it shall take – will depend.

We’re well into Virgo now and I’m a few days late. Mars has crossed into Scorpio and the second full Moon of august is upon us, A blue Moon, casting its pale indigo radiance upon us. Its easy to see why Cancer aka the Moon is such a nostalgic sign. The golden face of the moon usually evokes fondness and a sense of harmony, when the night sky is luminescent and darkness held at bay for a few days. In the depth of Summer when Cancer reigns supreme, that Moon appears at the end of long, warm days and is a beacon for lovers to meet beneath its flattering glow, evoking a special array of pheromones, neurotransmitters, poly-peptides and hormones in a fusion of passion and flush. The full Moon rises eternally in the space of our DNA, alighting the promise of night. I don’t give a good goddam if its a spaceship, hollow or was parked there by Orions to entrain us with a broad spectrum of strange behaviors and polarity (see the Moon’s Nodes). When the Blue Moon rises, it evokes laying in the long grass, dandelion wine and sprites humming about in the sweet essence of creation, rising in the glow of the midsummers night.
And then there’s Virgo.
It didn’t take long, but we saw the first meta-imprint of Virgo hit the collective screen of our minds. I am referring to the fall of Lance Armstrong, America’s last hero of sorts.
Armstrong (9/18/71) birth time unknown is a triple Virgo (Sun/Moon/Mercury). He also has Pluto in Virgo at 29 degrees, conjunct his Sun at 25 degrees. That Pluto/Sun conjunction is tenacious, the sign of a true survivor and since it is in Virgo (health) and Pluto (death) Armstrong rose to prominence in the public’s eye by beating cancer of the lungs, brain and testicle, using aggressive allopathic medicine aka radiation and chemo. its the stuff of legend. He goes onto win 7 Tour-de-France medals, has his sperm frozen just in case the plumbing won’t work, impregnates his wife with it, then goes onto conquer the cycling world. Along the way, he buddies up with fellow Texan, G.H.W. Bush, then leaves his wife for Sheryl Crow, the former school teacher from Missouri who moved to LA and got the majority of her early hits from a musical salon called “The Supper Club” where she met Kevin Gilbert who became her boyfriend and was generally acknowledged as the creative force behind Crow. After releasing a brilliant, 80s styled pop record, drenched in cynicism and unabashed romantic yearning, Gilbert pulled the plug on his own life in the shadow of Crow’s spreading wings on the winds of her success, soaring up the charts. But I am getting way ahead or behind or tangential.
Lance Armstrong, with all that purity (Virgo) represented the untainted winner that America had been craving for decades. Not only was he a true American from Plano, Texas, he was also white. Unlike Tiger and his miscegenated cablination, Lance was white. And while “Figer” created a sense of corporate worship and awe through his Baphometric Capricornius, it wasn’t the same. Lance was the common man with uncommon ability, who overcame adversity. His team was repaid by the postal service, a mercurial/virgoan brand as there ever could be. This is why his fall is strange and as tainted as his urine samples likely were.
Lance was being harassed by the USADA (The US Anti-Doping Agency). While almost all of Hollywood is getting pumped with botulism viruses, HGH and just about any other thing that will sustain the illusion of youth, while men over 40 are being pitched testosterone pre-cursors every 15 minutes on sports talk radio, while deep in the heart of DARPA labs, serums for super soldiers are cooked up for the Captain Americas of tomorrow, Lance gets tarred and feathered by the most absurd watchdog agency. EVER. If the SEC had as much zealous intention and oversight, most of Wall St and nearly all of congress and the senate would be doing time.
Its pretty clear (no, not that clear) that Armstrong is a superior athlete from his chart. he has Jupiter in Sag, which is Jupiter at it’s most potent expression. Sag and Aries rules athletics and in its own sign, Jupiter is amplified times two. At 0 degrees, its a portal. In the Sabian Symbols, 0 degrees Sag, as it relates to Armstrong isn quite interesting. Even though we would read one degree for this symbol, we cannot overlook the all important 30th or 0 degree (at least according to my friend, Lynda Hill). Here is the 30th or 0 degree;
PHASE 270 (SAGITTARIUS 30°): THE POPE, BLESSING THE FAITHFUL
KEYNOTE: The need to pay homage to traditional values upon which the Invisible Community of the spirit is built. The concrete integration of myriads of human individuals within a great religious institution with a long tradition reflects, as well as having produced century after century, an invisible spiritual Community. The “flag bearer” has now become the “Pope,” who assumes the role of God’s representative on earth. It is a role, but culture is based on embodying great Images and deeply moving symbols in physical reality. The symbol asks of the individual: “Are you willing to live a transpersonal life as a symbol?” This is the final and supreme statement of that section of the cycle of the year represented by Sagittarius.
This concludes Scene Eighteen. A collectivity of human beings is seen having “transferred” their sense of spiritual value to a man who has become an incarnation of their common ideal. Keywords: PERSONALIZED WORSHIP. It can be a blessing or in some cases, a curse.
Clearly, we are in the curse phase of this symbol for Armstrong. Also note the transition from flag bearer, Sabian symbol 26, to the Pope, which Rudhyar sees as the transformation of the revelation into spiritual orthodoxy. Where have we seen the image of the flag bearer before?
Neptune also plays a HUGE role as it too is at 0 degrees and conjunct Sag. We can infer all kinds of Neptunian hijinx around this, like using drugs (Neptune) to expand (Jupiter) athletic enhancement (Sag). There’s also the projection of the very type of hero worship in symbol 30/0. All this went down by the way when the Sun was square Armstrong’s Jupiter and Neptune. Lance also has a very prominent conjunction between Mars at 12 degrees Aquarius conjunction his Mean Node in Aquarius at 12 degrees, Can you say science? Using any technological means at his disposal. His chart is marked by exactitude and direct/close degrees. There’s the Neptune/Jupiter exact conjunction, Mars/MN, exact and also Lilith and Uranus also exact in Libra, 12 degrees. Chiron in Aries is also at 12 degrees and is exactly opposite Uranus and BML. Restless, application of will at all costs, especially in relationships and love are a hot spot here for Armstrong. His chart is also marked by a lack of water. None. Zero. Dry as West Texas. Compassion and emotion come from the outside–not in. Replacing emotion with adulation. Love as a remote signal from the masses. Let’s face it, The man is human in extremes. He’s overcome adversity and based on the scientific and darwinian model, should be rewarded, not punished for his achievements in athletics and science, ahem. But we live in a bullshit world where Lance gets strung up on the cross of hypocrisy just days before the GOP convention, getting swept up in the undercurrent of racial baiting that both sides shamelessly promote. Lance is the dirty, white, cheating republican, branded just prior to their biggest stage. But he’s not the only Armstrong. Oh no!. There’s Neil Armstrong, arguably America’s “other” last hero, the man that “walked” on the Moon. if you haven;t listened to my interview with Jay Weidner on Kubrick and the Moon, I headily recommend that you do. You can hear it here.
In the midst of the Vietnam war, riots in Watts, Detroit and shootings at Kent State, America needed a moment where it could be proud and once again regain some its luminescence. That was Armstrong’s “One small step for man.” I’m not going to go into the elaborate minutiae about the NASA and Freemasonry, Clockwork Orangeing, and all the other strangeness around the Apollo missions, but let’s for a moment seal Neil Armstrong in the amber of our memory as America’s last hero, he’s gone now. Passed into the great beyond where the soul catcher on the Moon’s dark side hurtles his essence back into the center of the Sun, joining the dearly departed Kubrick for a cosmic belly laugh of epic proportion and some suitable incarnation on an alternate Earth. He’s gone. Dead. And Lance Armstrong is metaphorically dead (even though Livestrong donations have hit an all-time high) Neil Armstrong died after complications of heart surgery. This would not be uncommon for a Leo, but the timing is quite strange, in the overall arc of the Armstrong/Armstrong vector.
One of the most important symbols for America during the early 20th Century, was Jack Armstrong, the All American Boy, which ran on radio, from 1933 to 1951. It was a classic cereal thriller as it was sponsored by the all american, Wheaties. It debuted on 7/31/33 which would make Jack a Leo! The show was a series of adventures with the young Armstrong (high school) and his two friends, the Billy and Betty Fairfield (fair playing field) globetrotting from adventure-to-adventure, thanks mainly to the Fairfield’s industrialist uncle Jim. The show was a staple of the American diet inasmuch as Wheaties was the breakfast table. He is the third of the Armstrong trinity, representing a heroic ideal and ideation of being an American. Jack Armstrong was eventually morphed into the TV show, Johnny Quest, where Johnny and his buddy Hadji get into all kinds of adventures with his dad and his dad’s pal (ahem) Race Bannon, both of whom look like poster dudes from Tom of Finland.
It is interesting that the Fairfield sibs were altered in this iteration to reflect an emerging globalism and become Johnny’s turban wearing, snake-charming chum.
In two, short days, the Armstrong brand was terminated. This could be inferred as the death of the USA on a metaphoric and perhaps even a prophetic level. In the ashes of Lance Armstong’s legacy, the global icon of Ussain Bolt rises. Running beastly times in the 100, 200, and 100 meter relay, Bolt (Leo) is the man of the moment, bolting and signifying with the all the rest of the stars that illuminate our media’s skies. Bolt is global. He’s Jamaican, British, a planetary citizen, a DJ, spinning tracks with power rings and ancient seals, from bikes to spikes, from wheels to heels. Ussain has become a lightning bolt for alternative research. See for yourself, here.
With the descent and passing of the Armstrongs, we are seeing a ritual passing of the torch. Keep your eyes affixed on the flame of liberty, Pallas Athena’s torch of illumination.
I’ll be back with scopes this week–its been too long. Until then, let’s get into a little Mars in Scorpio. Mars and Scorpio are yoked. Mars is exalted in Scorpio. Its depth. Its power. Its endurance. Its tenacity. Its sex. This is truly an aspect where everyone gets a little needed boost. While Mars was only in Libra from July 4th to till August 23rd, but it felt like a lot longer, especially in relationships, where, let’s face it, Mars in Libra was a real grind, sorting out mine and thine. Mars in Libra is great for make-up sex, but it spends a lot of time negotiating at high volume. Its no coincidence that with Mars in Libra and Jupiter in Gemini, both signs that represent an expression of duality, one inner, the other outer, that we’d be stuck in the middle of a political psyop between two supposed candidates that has done everything is the book to divide and conquer. Watching the fallout from the bizarre re-definition of rape by one Senator Akin, to the vitriolic response from women, to the cynical manipulation of that rage coming from the other side.
With Mars out of Libra, the heat, the rancor and the outrage all get dialed back. There’s something else in the ethers now. Its a feeling that is intense, canny, wise and deep. Recently, in the final degrees of Mars in Libra, Pussy Riot, desecrated an Orthodox church and were thrown in the pokey, amidst much furor and outrage from the likes of Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Trudy Styler. Pussy Riot has all the earmarks of a false front. More atsro-turfed phony agit-prop. While the three courageous avengers of global justice who screw in museums and swear at God in orthodox churches were jailed, in the US, one Brandon Raub gets detained for posting “patriotic lyrics” on Facebook and the truthers come out in support of Raub, full guns blazing. Well, after a brief stint in a psych ward, there seems to be some unraveling of his story and people are looking at him and this event quite differently as well. Here is where the strum and drang of Mars in Libra gives way to the sagacious undertone of Mars in Scorpio. People have the ability to get beneath the surface of things in their lives with Mars in Scorpio and it has the power to transform all aspects in all lives, from malkuth to kether. Life, birth, death, in an affirmation of active participation, that is Mars in Scorpio. Its actually a very positive energy to have in the wake of Issac, people persevering through the force of violence and nature via water.
Its not often when a person has direct contact with an archetype that is so matrix morphing in ways that we can only begin to meditate on the spiritual resonance that it portends and yet, this occurred to me just the other day. Here is what happened and why you need to know about.
Jerry Sandusky was judged and condemned swiftly on 43 out of 48 counts of sexual assault. He’s scheduled to spend the next three lifetimes in prison, if he even makes it that far.
Its interesting, as a sports fan, I’d listen to updates on local and national shows and they reported the verdict with a canned sense of solemnity and then they moved onto the scores. The big sports networks don’t want to touch the case with any sort of exacting eye, especially ESPN, which is owned by Disney. Can you feel me? The local shows just shake their heads and since its not a local story, they move on as well. Sports is the Club Med of denial. There’s only a few reporters in the world of sports that would have the nerve to really stare down the Sandusky case, Pittsburgh radio host Mark Madden is one of them. Madden was way out in from of the Sandusky story and has even intimated that Sandusky was not just a perp, but a frontman for something even more insidious. Here is Madden’s Sandusky talking points on the air.
As a result of his conviction, Sandusky was removed from a mural of Penn State luminaries. This is what happens in political regimes where there’s a sea change in leadership or ideology. When Stalin died, he was edited out of similar visuals in Russia, including books and films. Here is the matrix re-writing its own program, virtually re-scripting history. But sometimes, occasionally, there’s a new template inserted, overriding the program to such a degree that it quite frankly transmits the potential for redemption. You see, a good friend of mine is replacing Sandusky on the Penn State mural, her name is “Dora McQuaid” and she’s a nationally recognized poet, as well as a domestic violence and abuse activist and a Penn State alum.
While Jerry Sandusky was building Second Mile into a multi-million-dollar foundation for the procurement of young boys, Dora, a rape survivor was heroically holding down two lives. By day, she taught english at Penn State. By night, she was visiting prisons and meeting with violators face-to-face, working arduously to lobby for victims rights and greater post-traumatic support. Her work was lauded and she was honored by the state of Pennsylvania itself. Could these two seemingly disparate realities co-exist in the same academic dimension? The answer was “no.” And it was not Sandusky that would be forced out of the collegial confines of Happy Valley.
After a strange and severely damaging car wreck, McQuaid had to leave university due to the severity of her injuries. This took place in 2004, almost exactly during the last Venus transit, as Venus crossed over the South Node of the Sun. Sandusky’s conviction and McQuaid’s redemption all took place during this version of the Venus transit, which has been dubbed “The Return Of The Divine Feminine.” I am boldly proclaiming that Dora McQuaid’s displacement of Sandusky on the mural is not only culturally important and a personal vindication for her work, but also signals a re-balancing of energy on a planetary level.
Born on April 22nd, Dora has been tasked with the master number. Her chart features a stellium in Aries including Mercury, Venus, Saturn, TN and Chiron and while they are just outside the current of the Pluto/Uranus square, Aries is the sign of the warrior and she has been that spiritual warrior. Oh yeah, she’s a Taurus, ruled by . . . Venus.
Its more than just a little ironic that Sandusky was convicted during the Uranus/Pluto square as football is a sport modeled on war and Aries rules war. Uranus is radical–we know that–but it also has a disturbing quality to it. Aquarius by and large likes to play by its own rules and there is an inherent lawlessness in Aquarius. This is fleshed out in “Rules For Radicals” written by the rebellious Aquarian, Saul Alinksky, where Alinsky dedicates the blueprint for revolution to Lucifer. Sandusky is an Aquarian as well.
Pluto in Capricorn is not only the ascent of the coporatocracy, but also insight into the proclivities of power, particularly the sexual proclivities. When these two outer planets square, we get friction and sparks, the grinding of social gravitational fields at hard angles.
Sandusky has an Aquarian Moon to go along with his Sun. Transiting Pluto was conjunct his Mercury in Capricorn, Uranus in Aries of course was squaring it. This intensity on his Mercury was pushed to the surface as his Plutonian secret life was revealed for all the world to see. Uranus squaring it added light speed to the trial. There are those that say that the extraordinarily fast trial was due to the fact that they didn’t want the backstory of Second Mile to come leaking out, but when I spoke with Dora, she told me that the reason it was so swift was that they wanted to dispatch the grand jury as quickly as possible on the Penn State administration, including, but not limited to ex-president, Graham Spanier. Spanier is a Cancer, 25 degrees. Saturn is about to square his Sun. It could get very hot for the former head of Penn State, very quickly.
Another interesting astrological aspect was that transiting Venus retrograde got within one degree of Sandusky’s Mars in Gemini, performing as it were a celestial reclamation of sorts. Mars in Gemini lends itself more towards bi-sexuality than almost any other alignment. Gemini also represents early-childhood development and learning. Keep in mind that most of Sandusky’s victims were between the ages of seven and nine. He also has Chiron in Virgo which translates into “the shame of innocence.”
While Jerry Sandusky awaits his dark fate behind bars, as the next phase of the grand jury looks into the sordid relationships up the chain of authority and beyond, Saturn goes direct, speeding towards Scorpio’s arrival in October, when the muck and filth becomes blatantly obvious for all to smell and witness. This will coincide with what is called, “The Externalization Of The Hierarchy,” where the raw, naked and bold plans for a global hegemony begin to be revealed, thus catapulting us towards the catalyst point of 12/21/12 and the life and death drama of 2013.
2012 will quite possibly be remembered as the last year that had any connection to the past in terms of legacy and continuity. In 2013, the collective memory changes. The luxury of nostalgia reaches its climax. You’ll look back on these times and fondly remember them as the good old days. Which brings me to my next point.
Pluto in Capricorn is ruthless and I mean this in the most positive sense possible. Squared up against Uranus in Aries in the all important 9 degree (end of a cycle), we’re being forced to quickly evaluate our own lives against the ominous sweep of the big picture.
I got into it on Facebook today and if it was two years ago, I’d probably still be at these keys hammering away at my rightness of things. I was tangling with an astro-theologian. I think astro-theology is mostly full of shit. Its an atheistic reduction of all things religious, wiping out the big three, all based on the cross-cultural application of the Sun as manifestation of a variety of Gods. The person I was debating with was convinced that Jesus was a fake, all religions lies and that our makers were aliens (cue Prometheus). I wondered how sure could she be and even if it were true, how could she explain away the lives of mystics and saints like Theresa of Avila and Padre Pio? What of Fatima? Medjugorge? These are people and places that have experienced deeply religious and spiritually spontaneous transmissions of the miraculous and divine. How could she be so sure of their non-existence?
While I was prompting her to perhaps reconsider her own position regarding her outright rejection of Christianity, even if she did it just to challenge her own pre-disposition, I was on another thread where I was telling this guy a story about Dezi Arnez and how he loved to take speed while staying at The Copa and screw girl after girl that waited in line outside his room. He accused me of spreading a Satanic lie to demoralize his faith. I somehow managed to piss off a believer and non-believer in the span of about ten minutes. Gotta love Jupiter in Gemini, where I can be a heretic and a disciple with the stroke of a key.
The close knit relationship between Chiron and Neptune in Pisces is manifesting in this dance of disbelief and faith. Chiron is shining a light on the inequities of faith as dogmatic systems of control. Its almost like chemo for the collective soul though. How much will it kill off before it can heal itself again? Neptune trailing behind Chiron offers the signs of redemption, sort of like the transit of Venus or Sandusky to McQuaid. In a perfect universe (its perfect anyway right?) Chiron would expose the hypocrisy and lies, while Neptune would bring the holy water and fill the cistern of your heart with the one, true gospel of pure love and service for the gift of life itself. But this ain’t the movies. Or is it?
With the seeming lack of material excess for many of us, we’re dealing with Pluto’s machine-like efficiency in Capricorn. Whittling away at our possessions and material goods, what is left? As we alchemize the dross of materialism, we get closer to the distillation of our souls. Pluto in Capricorn leads us towards an “economy of soul.” In essence, what we’re doing now, since it appears that the material game is ending, is getting more and more attuned to what’s important and if you haven’t done this, I heartily suggest that you do.
You see, the only thing you have and ever had was your soul, the most precious possession we could ever encounter. Everything else is ephemeral and transitory, so you’d better do some spiritual accounting very quickly. Im not saying to give up your dreams or what you deeply desire to do based on a soulful aspiration. I’m no Marshall Applewhite. But what I am suggesting is, is that you move beyond the lesser light of the material realm and get right with the God within you. You’ll know this by the quality of peace you live with–that is the spiritual litmus.
We started this long and rambling affair recognizing a phase shift in the matrix on a symbolic level as my dear friend and lovely spiritual warrior, Dora displaced the most disgraced and now despised man in Penn State history. Is there any other sign that can validate this state of change? What if Venus transiting the Sun has altered the Sun itself? Was it a cosmic trigger giving birth to a new version of the Sun? The Sixth Sun as prophesied by the Maya? The light here has changed. Its different. It feels like autumnal rays that oxidize the leaves into September rust, then dust are beaming down upon us.
In the outer reaches of the solar system, Pluto and Uranus slide into place at exactly a 90 degree angle. The Uranus/Pluto square has arrived. Here in California, summer came and went in two short days. The shift into fall was heralded by the arrival of massive lenticular clouds, shrouding the conveyance of motherships in the sky. The winds roared, the temperatures dropped and yet the light remained late into the day. The meteorological cognitive dissonance was surreal. Meanwhile, wild fires in Colorado and New Mexico still rage and the heat there is off the charts. They’re having summer in hell. Its like we’re living in multiple worlds, various planes of existence. Its always been this way, but there has been a general broadband of a collective narrative that was more or less coherent. That’s changing now. Things are breaking apart, a fragmenting of what we call reality is taking place. Now some of this is obviously manipulated at some level. The fires in the rockies have been started on purpose (as most fires are).
The Uranus/Pluto square is going to manifest on many levels, including a very real possibility for WW3 in Syria, but what I am experiencing early on is this sense that reality as it relates to time, the one, theoretically shared experience we all have that transcends religious belief, is ending. Now time does exist differently in different places. The most obvious example being that I have my radio show in California at 10AM during the week, but someone in Holland will be listening nine hours later. We’re living in different time zones, but after a few adjustments, we’re living in agreement. Well that’s changing.
Uranus or Ouranus was the father of the sky or the universe and his mate was Gaia, the Earth itself. Together, they created the progeny of titans. Here, in the act of birth, time begins in the physical creation of this dimensional manifestation. Without birth or manifestation into physical being, time does not exist. Even the birth, life and death of stars as ancient and seemingly fixed as they are do not occur without our recognition. Out of time, all things are eternal (which is where we are headed).
Uranus or Ouranus (sky) in concert with Gaia (earth) creates the template of the physical domain aka time. Ouranos is also called “Aion Ouranus.” Aion or Aeon is the alpha and omega. It is the beginning and end of time. Out of the belly of Gaia emerges the titans, the mythological offspring of their elemental copulation. One of their children is “Cronos” which manifests as the birth of time. Cronos is envious of eternity (Ouranos) and wants to assert his will over Gaia, To do this, he will have to castrate his father with a scythe and thus lay waste to eternity, so that he can super-impose his consciousness over Gaia and usher in his domain, which is the rule of time.
In this square, we see two manifestations of this passion play once again dueling away. Ouranos of course is Uranus and in the sign of Aries, it is all about now, now and more now. The urgency of the moment is gripping. Every event on the world stage seems to influence the holographic display with more and more intensity. Chaos theory is rushing like a torrent through our collective awareness. Everything is wired together, whether its the global economy or the birth of Snooki’s baby. Six degrees of separation has melted down to three in the past two years. Social networking has become an accelerant to the social heat index. So it’s no wonder that Jerry Sandusky and Anders Breivik have been on trial simultaneously. Both men committed gross crimes against children (rape and murder). Here we see the greek themes played out again in the slaughter and violation of innocence. I’m not even taking into account the forces behind these two men, which is another post altogether. I’m simply making a mythological correspondence.
We also have Pluto in Capricorn in the mix as well. Capricorn is Cronos. Capricorn is time and gravity. We all bitch about Saturn and why? Because Saturn locks us into the pressure of gravity. We know our theoretical limitations through Saturnine institutions like the state or the corporation. They define our earthly existence through codes like SSN’s, drivers license numbers, etc. We are told what we can or cannot do by the manifestation of their institutions like planning or zoning departments. Just try to put something in your front yard, like a vegetable garden, which it is not zoned for and you’ll see what happens. Their agents of time will come a knockin’.
When Pluto in Cap first broke, I talked about the transformation of time quite a bit and in the last four years I’ve witnessed it over and over again. In sports, there is a cycle where teams bring up players, especially in baseball and they allow them to play for a while and get their game together. Baseball uses agricultural language from the early 20th century to describe this process. The minor leagues in baseball are called “farm leagues” and players that are not quite ripe get to mature on the farm team before they are harvested by the big leagues. There’s generally been more of a sense of patience with this this process, which is more closely aligned with organic or natural time, but recently I’ve seen players judged not just game by game, but at bat by at bat. Soon it will be reduced to pitch by pitch. That’s where its all headed–into the moment.
The square represents a conflict in time itself. Uranus in Aries is NOW and Pluto in Cap wants to dominate through time, because time itself is running out, ending.
My good friend Ellis Taylor has talked about this frequently in his brilliant thesis regarding time and 2012, especially as it relates to the upcoming Olympics. Ellis sees not just the Olympics, but events leading up to the Olympics as part of a mega-spell, woven together, to entrap us in time, but not just from our current perspective. He sees the manipulation of time as sort of medieval techno-fascist-serfdom matrix of reality with no access to spiritual planes of existence. Thus, in essence, the Olympics are a sort of time-lock, leading of course up to 12/21/12.
The square challenges all of that. How can we plan for our futures when theoretically they may not exist, this evidenced by the fact that social security may not be around for post boomers. This throws us directly into the present and a live for today mentality, which has both positive and negative manifestations. But when we get into the scenario of different or fractal times, we also encounter different or fractal realities, where varying models of consciousness can be existing in parallel spaces. Its ALWAYS been this way, but now, we are becoming more and more aware of it. How do we reconcile these states when sometimes they even cross family lines?
Just after Barack Obama had been elected and Pluto had moved into Capricorn, my life profoundly changed. I was separated from and then divorced my wife (Aries). Our worlds were moving in vastly different directions. I had just really started this site and was picking up serious momentum as Saturn was about to enter my 10th House. She was having Saturn transit in her 12th (Leo). During that period she stared down her alcoholism and unattended grief for the loss of her mother, which occurred just prior to her Saturn return. When Saturn moves through the 12th, there is an inner journey that is so intense and personal that really nothing much else matters on the surface of things. Saturn in the 12th is a quest towards timelessness, triggering an eternal yearning to know and understand God. She found this through AA and the “higher power” and for better or worse, she delineated her life into AA and pre-AA segments. I was in the pre-part and ultimately consigned to the fires of transformation. On a soul level, I understand this. The personality however has had as we shall say, a more complex experience regarding it.
From an egoic perspective, I suppose I would have had less of a challenge if I had been recognized by her on some fundamental level, like; “I honor and get what you do, but it’s not compatible with my life and its taken me a while to get clear on this and many other aspects of my life in general.” I didn’t get that and it had been a real point of contention for me. This post and what I am leading up to is an attempt to heal and move on from that perspective.
After I left, Saturn had moved into her first house. We all know that Saturn forces change in whatever sector its in. In her first house of Virgo, it is health, identity and esteem. She had put on a significant amount of weight while she was pregnant and gained more in the aftermath of having our son. With natal Saturn directly on her natal Moon in Gemini, she’s given to bouts of depression. Depression can be overcome by the stimulation and production of endorphins, which are created through exercise. She decided to work with a trainer with the intention of entering a triathlon. She did and along the way, she lost 175 pounds and found a major tool in combating her depression, which has made her a better person and a better mom.
Now, she’s focused on participating in Ironman Kona. Its an elite event on the triathlon circuit, the big kahuna of triathlons and they only let a few outsiders in every year. People have to apply and share their story, then get voted on by the public based on the poignancy of their tale. Well she’s made a video of hers and its moved her into the final round of voting. She’s asked me to do a piece on her so that she can get her message out and live her dream. Let’s just say I’ve been a bit conflicted about this. My eternal self wants to do the “right thing” while personality wants to do something just a tad bit different. But here we are, karmically linked, maybe in ways I cannot even begin to perceive and perhaps my bending like a bamboo in the wind is the key to unlocking this energetic stalemate. So please, have a look at her video, take in her story (its actually pretty compelling) and vote for her to live her dream. Here’s the link; Heather’s video.
This has nothing to do with this post–just do the math.
I’m not the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce or Nostradamus, though it does seem like having those disincarnate bonafides will get you 30 to 40 minutes on the History Channel or Coast-To-Coast, whenever deemed necessary. Yes, I’m talking about David Wilcock and Louis (Louie) Turi if you haven’t figured it out. I rarely call out other writers, researchers and hosts, but I am compelled, no driven, no moved by a higher power to examine some of the things that hey have said and or reported over the past few days and weeks. There’s an interesting astrological thread that connects Wilcock and Turi, but I will save it for the end of this column. That’s called a tease in the biz. Now you can go to the end and say “screw you Phoenix” and find out what that connection is and why its important to the narrative, but then you’d miss out on all the juicy stuff in between. Let’s start with Louie Turi.
I met Louie for the first time in 1996. We shared space at the Whole Life Expo, his booth next to mine. I was doing tarot readings, he was doing astrology with his smokin’ hot young wife. I was just going live with the prophecy game and Louie had been at it for a while. I didn’t know much about him, but he gave me a reading (I paid for it) and told me one thing that made total sense; He told me that, “I needed meat–red meat.” He was right. I had been trying to be a vegetarian and I was cold and listless all the time. He didn’t know this, but hit it on the money. That night I had an organic cheeseburger and never looked back.
Louie also taught me about The Dragon’s Head and tail (ie the north and south node) and how they play a significant role in our energy and destiny. He taught me that the North Node was where it was at for this lifetime, and the South Node was where it was in other lives.
I have the North Node in Virgo in my 10th House and the South Node in Pisces in my 4th House. But the way that he described it, it was about the lionization of the North Node and the demonization of the South Node. So in my case, Pisces was kryptonite. According to Louie, I needed to steer a wide birth from anything that looked or smelled fishy. Well, there was some truth to this. I had one Pisces girlfriend that ruined a budding career and another Pisces crush that led me to a hard night in jail. Needless to say, that after this confirmation, I dated everything between Aries and Aquarius, since the 12th sign had become my personal hazmat zone. So I got some solid info from him, which makes what I am about to write even more difficult.
I heard Louie on Coast-To-Coast the other night and I was sadly disappointed by what I heard. In fact, what I heard was downright dangerous.
I listened through his thick, irregular, yet oddly musical French accent talk about how the upcoming Friday (last week) would be, “A very stressful time that could be quite dangerous and that the police had to watch out for the bad guys out there–to take extra pre-caution.” He was talking about terrorists, implying that there could be a “terror threat” out there. When I heard that, it felt like Louie had turned into the Dennis Miller of astrology or what my pal Visible calls the “Christopher Hitchens Syndrome.” Essentially, its someone that changes uniforms in the middle-of-the game. Louie was backing the “terrorist narrative meme.”
I thought to myself, that it was a little shameless, because I know that he knows whats going on. He’s too smart. I may question his politics and his promotion of paradigms, but he’s not naive. Then, he went on a prediction riff and saw more financial and economic chaos for the US in the months ahead. Well, that’s not much of a reach. But then he saw things turning around and once the inevitable crash was going to occur, then there would be a re-structuring of the financial system that would be concurrent with the rise and completion of the “Freedom Tower” now known as the “One World Trade Center” which is essentially the new Tower of Babble, the stratospheric obelisk of the “One World” government.
Louie Turi was pimping out the “New World Order.” George Noory remained his passive self, never really questioning him about his predictions or illuminist predilections, for that matter, which is really the Noory way of things.
Then Louie pimped out his Cosmic Code special for just $24.95 for all “Coast-To-Coast” listeners and I wanted to take a shower. Maybe I could have swallowed his hard hawking (because everyone has gotta make a buck) if he had a little less elite suck in him that night. Maybe I could have glossed over his Ron Popiel astro-pitch, but I just couldn’t. Everything became a schtick for me at that point and no matter what I learned from him in that brief, yet very instructive reading, I just couldn’t take him seriously any more.
In my own peregrinations amongst the stars, I recently stumbled upon the key to the South Node or the Dragon’s Tail, which liberated my understanding of it, removing the negative stigma that I had absorbed all those years ago. As I sat in front of my computer last week, and spoke into it doing a reading for someone and later doing my show, I realized that I was living my South Node in a positive light. There, buried in my Fourth House (Home) I was engaged in mystic arts (Pisces) and broadcasting them to the world in an act of service (Virgo, North Node) in the 10th House. Which led me to my next epiphany.
Since the Nodes exist in opposition, I pondered the whole concept of the opposition, polarity and duality. I began to see the opposition as a loop, a circuit, once liberated from its 2D form. In 3D, the opposition becomes an orbit, or an ellipsis, where the energy and information flows without impedance. The opposition and seeing it in three-dimensional space is the key, THE KEY to integration.
In this regard, even Louie becomes part of my soul’s equation (more on this later, in the tease release). Now its on to David Wilcock.
I rarely talk about or reference David Wilcock, even though Alexa cites “Cosmogenesis” as the site most like mine. There’s a reason why. I have never fully trusted him. Its the whole Edgar Cayce thing. It was too much of a hard sell for me. If you don’t know it, Wilcock claims to be the living incarnation of Edgar Cayce. His story is twisted and synchronistic and a bit laborious. Now if he was Edgar Cayce, would Cayce have made such a big deal out of it? I am not so sure. But let’s say that the Cayce trip isn’t just a false memory inserted by some teen NASA space camp programming, it doesn’t make his work any more credible. Wilcock has been more wrong than Chaz Bono in a speedo. I can’t tell you how many times he’s predicted contact or disclosure and it didn’t happen. His credibility has been stretched so much, that Pricilla Presley and Joan Rivers are envious, and now he’s at it again, with the equally less-than-credible, Benjamin Fulford, claiming that there is going to be mass arrests of leaders, politicians, and bankers, by a third column group of guys in white hats. The arrests of the guys in the dark hats, will herald the dawn of a new age of economics and governance according to Wilcock. Curiously, he and Turi are essentially saying the same things; Things are gonna be great. There’s a gonna be a rough patch, but then it gets better, much better and each has their own version of a warm and fuzzy utopia restored. The synchronous timing around both of these perspectives is fairly interesting to say the least.
I’m not sure where Louie is getting his 411 from. Maybe he’s deriving it from The Dragon’s Head in freedom loving Sag, or he’s getting it like these guys.
Wilcock splashed his feel good over an interview with a whistle-blower named, “Drake.” Drake claims to be a deep insider and he has intimate knowledge that he’s passing onto Wilcock. Well if Drake isn’t just a duck that quacks, I say “hallelujah” and “huzzah.” David Wilcock, be like a broken clock and hit the right time, this time, finally, even if by default. David, all of your Edgar Cayce posturings, funny haircut and major league whiffs on past predictions will be forgiven. I’ll sing you and your oddball buddy Ben Fulford’s praises from that day forward, without fail, but sadly I am not sure that I will be forced to do this. We live in a time of false boobs, hope, flags and alarms. I’ll believe it when I see it on TV, because strangely enough, that’s when the revolution will be televised.
Okay, here comes the reveal moment of the tease. What do David Wilcock and Louie Turi have in common? Pisces. Wilcock is a Pisces Sun (3/8) and Turi has The Dragon’s Head in Pisces, which is where by the way Edgar Cayce (Pisces Sun) and Nostradamus also have The Dragons Head. Interesting eh? I’ve been writing and talking a lot about the intensity of Neptune in Pisces and Chiron in Pisces and how as a cultural influence, we’ve seen it manifest rapidly in the guise of Kony 2012 and even Trayvon Martin, forcing us to separate the projection and illusion from what we can at best discern as reality. Putting on the waders and muddling through the swamps of consensus reality is a heavy trudge at times because we have to use our own lantern of truth to light the way through humanities dark night of the soul. Its the work of the Hermit (Virgo), the wayshower and its something we all have to do on our own. Its so easy to step in line and follow others with the so-called truth, because quite frankly, we’re famished. At a soul level, we’re like malnourished children waiting for our bowl of rice from concerned missionaries piled high with bibles and leather bound redemption.
So when Wilcock or Turi or the new rage, John Kettler, the latest loose lipper sprung by Project Camelot, start unwinding fantastic tales, just take a deep breath and a step back, before you dive in.
So who can we trust? How much are we willing to surrender or suspend our disbelief? Take a good look in the mirror and you’ll find the source of all your epiphanies and revelations.
On another related, Neptunian note, an old friend, Piscean, Peter Darling just published his first novel, a real page turn of international espionage, intrigue, romance and cyber punk. Think Dean Koontz meets William Gibson. You can check out Pete’s book, “Winter Republic” at his website where you can find out more about him and it and order it solid or synthetic. I’ll have Pete on the show, sometime next week to talk more about “Winter Republic.”
My English doppelganger, Darren Williams, delivers angles, asides and observations from his perch in LIverpool. Darren is a two of clubs as am I (the conversation card) and hails from where my grandmother was born and raised. Darren's observations from the world of sport, esoterica, music, the BBC and film are top notch.
